Need some help/advice guys. On my drive to work this morning (after a few slow miles and before I got on the highway), I got a yellow light warning today warning "engine hot, drive moderately". This was the second time in a week I got the warning after a few slow miles after a cold start. Also, this may or may not be related, but I've noticed the past few times when I eject the key that something has continued to run for about 10 seconds afterwards.
Anyone able to help me scan error codes? I work in Southfield and live in Royal Oak. I ordered the Schwaben scan tool from ECS this morning, but won't have it for several days. I want to see if the codes will tell me what it is (from my research, likely thermostat or water pump). Any other recommendations on how I should approach? I'm going to check the coolant level before I leave work today. Also, I've researched DIY for thermostat/water pump and considering this option (~$500 parts) vs dealership or indy >$1k. |

Sure sounds like its the water pump... I'd check your coolant level asap. DIY isn't that bad but can take a little time (I've only done it once).

Was a little wet, but still a cool event. Very happy I went! Where are all of you located? I work at Tenneco in Monroe, 99% sure I'm the only e9x in the area...

Hey everyone. New to the forum. I'm in the Grand Rapids and would like to get out to some shows. I just discovered this MI forum, and glad that I did! Anyone have suggestions of where I should go to have coilovers installed? I've never done real suspension work before and don't exactly have the time or tools to do it..

Anyone local interested in a nice drag radial setup?
Apex ARC-8 17x9.5 ET35 wheels (Anthracite) with Hoosier 275/40/17 drag radials. Like new condition. $500.

This is a square setup, correct? Also, these are relatively wide and do not fit stock sport suspension, correct? I would prefer to put my Pilot Sports on the wheels, but don't think they would fit.

Sad but true. It was a good 11 year run but it’s finally time to move on. Sean it looks like you are the last holdout of original owners.
I’m still exploring options for my next ride. Stay tuned...
