yeah two coats is better but who has 3 days to do a detail!
and two thin coats of wax are better than one and will last seth a bit longer than it normally would. i used this blackfire compound -> LC yellow pad blackfire finishing polish -> LC white pad blackfire gloss finishing polish -> LC black pad then jetseal 109 on the black pad

I see. Why did you choose the yellow pad as opposed to the orange? And does it make a difference? I know both are cutting pads but how do you know which one? Heavy swirls??

you really have to gauge which pad to use, took me a couple of pannels to figure it out. yellow cuts more than orange.

I guess that comes with time to see what pads to use. Just seems like most guys go with the orange/white combo. What other products did you use for wash, clay, interior, engine? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to see what i know!!

Found a small chip in my paint today while washing. Need to talk to my future brother-in-law(one at the body shop) to see about getting that and the scratch cleaned up.

I know of three small ones on the car at this point. Funny thing was I was shooting some shots of my car and in a couple of the pictures the chips I found today are smack dab in the middle bigger than shit.

Now that I look at them on here, the field of focus on the second one is a little to shallow. Should have gotten the whole car in focus and left the background out of focus. Looks to me like I lost the back half of the car in this one.
