Seriously, some aspects are really good. Would I leave my wife if not for the kids? Def not. Would I hit something if she were really hot and I thought I could get away with it? For sure.

My problem is that I am very fit...and generally not bad looking if they are down with the brown. Dress well, make good $. So I know like when I spend time this weekend at Indy and the few dads that do go are talking amongst themselves while I am hanging with their wives that if I just made the move I could prolly bed a fair share because they are so bored by the fat ugly uninterested blowhards that they are married to.

I agree that it isn't all that bad. I think the bottom line is if you are lucky enough to meet an other half that share most of your interest while maintaining an above average physical appearance. Thus if one is active it'll be more blissful if the other is too. Also a relationship where both parties listen to a bit of reasoning and is willing to somewhat compromise goes a long way. Either one party giving in all the time will not work in the long run.




Personally it's rare to meet a lady that share most of my interest while having an appealing physical appearance.

I think physical apperance is really important. I know it is not everything but if you are not attracted to your sig other, it won't work. To me, it doesn't matter how nice they are or what kind of personality they have. If you are not attracted to them, you will cheat. Based off of personal experience. I'm def not saying looks are everything though. I dated the hottest girl (IMO) but she was dumb. Couldn't take it

So seriously, as a new person, what was your expectation of this thread and what are you finding in comparison? I've often wondered what newbies thought and don't have that perspective as this thread started after I joined the forum. Are we completely f'ed up?

Here's the cool thing...I know alot of couples that will have nothing after the kids leave. I know my wife and I will have a good time and enjoy things together even moreso after they leave....leaches.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna be a good baseline for comparison. I'm quite used to forums. At first I glanced through the posting and like what I saw immediately. You guys poked fun at each other without much restrain and everyone give it back just as good as they are getting. "Fun" was probably the first word that came to mind.

Initial fear was that in a group this close, newbies are usually snobbed. I've received none of that and personally this rank as a 10/10 as a forum. No trolling or flame wars going on no matter how upset any one of you guys may seem. I recall the pedophile photoshop a while back.

Haha. It has to be f'd up. The things we talk about on here. Crazy! Wouldn't trade it for anything though. I was telling this girl about you guys the other day. She started to laugh and said, "your internet chat friends?" Pretty funny. I said, yup! Haven't met some of these guys but I consider them good people and friends of mine. Interested to hear some feedback

I think we have a lot of fun on here. I found this site looking for some 189's and the rest was history. I don't post as much as most be I check it everyday! Good group of guys on here. SOmetimes I forget that it is a car forum because I only check this thread

yeah...if anybody on here is gonna get rankled, its gonna be me. But then again, I catch the most crap and I ask for it. I also have a warped sense of right and wrong infused with stupid courage to say things rather than just letting things go.
