This arrived... Had an extra smile when I read "this kit does not require a head-unit recode"

Thank f¥?k for that!

On PC I also use FastStone Photo Resizer... It can do batches and even insert a logo for my occasional photog projects instead of having to PS it in one by one.

Done the Alpina b3 flash today via help :-)

I done the Alpina b3 flash to my 335i E93 today, via the help of a forum member " Cryptomit" Very happy with the results, they are what i expected them to be after reading numerous posts. It was all done via remote coding, he didnt need to even leave his house and neither did i . Easy and straight forward for a small fee. The guy really does know what he is doing, he is a computer genius. Any questions please just ask. This is the way your 335i auto gearbox should be programmed if you are running anything but standard power. HAPPY.

Just finished changing the cabin air and engine air filters. When I took the engine air filter housing apart I found a glass marble in there... I have no idea.

Yep, he is solid I agree and very much knows his way around coding!

Going to attack the right headlight lens today since it's not bad weather in Nottingham. First one took me 5 hours due to some mistakes, hoping to be done in 2 hours this time.

not much she's just sitting in the garage on her snows....need to retorque the wheels next time I drive her and also need to plug in the battery tender, it's gotten cold. I swear the E92 was the best purchase I ever made, you can't get anything like it today for that price (mine was new under 45k brand new ordered from Regensburg, and I have ZSP and ZPP and comfort, cold, manual)

rotated my passenger side high beam bulb. It was installed with the tab pointed up at about 10:00 position instead of down, so the metal flange around the bulb wasn't seated in it's well, causing the bulb to be pointed ever so slightly down. I saw my car's reflection in the glass doors at work with the DRL's on and it kinda looked like Sloth from the Goonies with one light way brighter than the other.

While doing it, I figured out exactly how someone could be so frustrated with it that they knowingly left it that way rather than messing with it again.

Tonight I plan to move my coils on cylinders 2 and 3 to 1 and 4 and see if the intermittent misfire follows them.

Spent almost 24 hours total since Sunday to install my 3" VSRF down pipes. Fitment wasn't super great since I had an exhaust leak through a gasket which made my car sound like shit. Today was the last day of the finished install. I ended up putting two gaskets on one of the down pipes to fill the gap and solve the fitment/leak issue I was having. Indy charged $250 for install, I bought all the tools I needed for $80 and did it myself. Hands are sore but me and my BMW are very happy. Car pulls even harder now.

It won't allow me to upload the pics, I don't know how to resize them
You can resize pictures by using paint. Drag and drop a pic, hit resize and select pixels and resize from there. Cheers

Last fix for a while

I tackled the last headlight lens, did the fogs & the right lens before christmas so this time I thought I'd take pics to show you what each stage looks like;

I'm not sure how to place pictures where I want them in sequence on here so I'll just upload the lot in order from coarse grit to acrylic glass polish.

I missed the photo opportunity for the very first sanding down using 400 grit and the last, 2500 grit which is followed by rubbing compound. The lens is now like new

Phenomenal job, kudos.

Can the windshield have some sort of similar treatment? They become very "porous" with numerous "dots" (not a smooth surface, it seems, like when it was new)? Thanks!

Thanks dude.

I'm not sure about the windshield, pretty sure it's not acrylic glass like the headlights? Mine is horrendously pitted so I need a new one but my insurance excess is only £75 so I'll get a replacement.

It's not acrylic, it's glass...
The plastic part is sandwiched between glass parts.

I know but my deductible is a lot more than 75 and I'd like to not replace it if possible (something about fooling around with factory's work with some joe doing a shitty job).
I used a clay bar twice but it's not enough. Perhaps sanding it? I'm scared lol

My clutch and flywheel went out (BTW, in all my manual cars I've never had to replace the clutch once). Took it to a shop and realized I have oil leaks, more misfires so replaced injectors, coils, plugs, did carbon cleaning, replaced oil filter housing gasket, and a handful of other stuff. After almost 2 weeks at the shop finally got it back last night. But after all the constant problems, I think it's time to part ways. lol

Hahahaha! Yeah, I was scared attacking the headlights. Maybe try it on an inconspicuous corner of the glass and go through the entire process?

Impressive, does look like new... I need to get out there and wax-on-and-wax-off on my gear as well! Stellar.

How are the rain-x wipers compared to the OEM?
