I didn't get the satellite radio package. One of my preceptors told me he got XM on his escalade and it sucked. Drops whenever you drive through wooded areas, etc, so I didn't get it. Now I just make an mp3 cd and check sites like hot97 and z100 every now and then to find new songs.

i just go to whatever genre i like and download songs. its not that hard.

well i mainly pay for it because everything is blocked at work so i play it all day.... the bmw doesnt have it connected yet... its in the fx which i drive maaaaybe once a week and normally i dont have any issues

I don't know if they can retrofit satellite radio into my idrive/nav

like obviously in a tunnel, youre not getting a signal but i havent noticed a loss of signal enough to complain... usually doesnt
