I'd choose Iris.

Just from how it sounds, though from the meaning Iris would suit expectations of a joyful character while Frida's meaning "peaceful" is what I'd like more.

Google Germanic female names, some great options... Klara/Clara for example.

That was my first thought when you put Frida as a name. Living in Nola, I feel you're going to get that a lot. Iris would be my vote.

Can't stand Freedia. Tragic.
