OMD have a new album out and it is extremely good.

This is the latest single. Whilst I don’t necessarily agree with the lefty sentiment it is a very good song with lots of Kraftwerk influences.

Compare with the original demo version.

For the 2023 version they left out a verse (suggesting a break-up of an abusive relationship) to focus on the now and then theme.

Would have liked even more Beatles-esque orchestral arrangements added (cello crescendo and french horn). Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra) could have certainly fixed that in his hallmark style for McCartney and Starr.
