If I change roof rails to anything it'll be to remove them. BMW's bolt-in crossbar roof rail feature is so nice. Don't know why they bothered with any other design.

Thank you! They are OEM Style 184 18x8 ET20 all the way around on 225/40-18 tires. 15mm spacers in the rear. I love the looks of it and I've got the style 270 for the winter!

Yes, 3M Fiery Orange. It's a very close match to the BMW Valencia Orange, by the way.

I asked my body guys about this and they said it wouldn't be at all financially viable to do, more a labour of love, especially now seeing how different the underside is.

I decided against it as I wasn't a fan of how stuck on it looks.

It is definitely possible, just not worth it for the most part. I've done a lot of body work and took on similar projects – the add-on wing is fiberglass, lending itself to be easily modified and molded to the factory piece. The problem is, there is actually a decent amount of shifting going on with that roof wing and then there is the abuse it would endure each time the tailgate, or just the window, was closed. It would probably crack in a short time unless total aerospace materials were used to make the pieces one.
