The clock on my microwave has started gaining about 30 seconds a week. How does this happen?

That's nothing. The touch panel switch on my microwave hood/vent light no longer works. It's no longer responsive; leaving the cooktop light on all the time. I had to go by an LED bulb so I won't waste a lot of electricity.

I built a wonderful computer, and got a decent monitor. But need a graphics card to be able to make use of either; so far 165Hz ultrawide monitor and ryzen 5800x has proven itself for 3 chrome tabs

Cool. I'll keep an eye on my alcohol processing abilities. Sounds like they may be increasing.

I figure if I'm going to upgrade though I'll go whole hog and build a new rig entirely. Waiting to buy a house too so I can see what the future gaming area will look like first, don't want to buy something and have nowhere to put it when I move.

I drive a GTI in the winter to keep my 9yo 1er rust free.

I can't be bothered to cycle or walk my 2 mile commute, so I get fat and my cars do too many short trips.

I've seen them going through the dry, soft sand at the beach.

Yeah, pretty impressive things...but no. If I were to get an alternative method of powered transport it'd probably be a scooter/motorbike. But part of the laziness thing is winter cold/wet, and the resulting wardrobe change at each end of the commute.

Pretty well actually. I’ve seen them off-road uphill and downhill on trails too. Some have even taken them in the snow. It’s on my shopping list of “random shit to buy if $GME actually hits $1,000 per share”.

That's what killed my commuting by bike. I used to have a big office with plenty of space to change clothes and to store my bike. Then I got moved to much nicer office, but also quite a bit smaller, so no place for a clothes rack or my bike.
