The exhaust isn't an issue at stage 1, at least they didn't indicate it. On the 335, the exhaust isn't a requirement even for stage 2 or 2+, so I can't see the one for the 535 causing issues in stage 1.

From the main coding dude himself:

Having said that, I went to their dyno database out of curiosity, and see there are a few dynos posted from just a couple of weeks ago! There's no stock / baseline pull unfortunately, and the mods for this car aren't listed (I have a feeling he has a FMIC though, as they did a pull labelled "Stage 1 +FMIC" within a few minutes of an earlier pull) but the good news is that on the newest v301 Aggressive maps, they got 308 HP. vs the 273 HP they got last year!

Here's a link to their dyno database: CLICK ME

Here are the two graphs:

good to know, thanks again . i hope theyfind a "proper" 535i to test, I would be very interested.

xclone, i see that you have a 535 as well. can i ask your first impression (and 2nd and 3rd) of the AP when your car was stock (assuming it was). i dont plan on doing much else but maybe springs and strut bar, nothing in terms of CAI or exhaust.
I know the DP's are different and the layout is different, but ya, hard to know.

My first impression of the cobb? Trying be honest here - it almost made me pee my pants a little. You wont really notice anything at low throttle, but when you go WOT, and you hit the boost, it will probably scare you just a bit (in a good way) if you arent used to something with that amount of HP. For my parameters (not wanting to be under the hood wiring things up) and ease of logging, install - it was the perfect choice!

I get the same P30FF code on 3rd at 6300-6500 RPM, I've checked just about all connections I can think of as well. This is on Stg2+FMCI Aggressive, I hit target just fine, no issues building boos, it only happens on 3rd (haven't really maxed out 4th) around that Rev range. Cobb is looking at it though and they haven't ruled out a tune issue yet.

This is what I'm going to try next...I get the P30FF with Cobb but it goes away when I run stock boost. My DV's have 100,000 miles on them, idk if they can "wear out" at all.

I have the ER Charge pipe, and Forge DVs, have run 18+ PSI multiple times with the Procede no issues. And I can build boost just fine where the most boost is happening (2500-5500) no code there, it comes down to when it tapers.. so makes no sense to be a "real" leak.. but I could be wrong.

I had no issues with boost leaks on stage 1 and stage 2+ caused me to get a leak at the fmic and chargepipe connection. We are only talking about psi jump of 3-4 psi, but it was enough to cause a connection that was fine to start leaking. I would check all the connections.

understood, and before I even emailed them I checked, and re-checked all my FMIC/DVS/Charge connections.. cleaned them from some little blow-by oil. Did a bit of do-diligence and still getting that code (only on 3rd gear) which I find funny.. 4th gear builds more boost 18+ compared to 17, 17.5 on third.. and 4th has no issues so far...

edit: Cobb has a bunch of my logs, and according to them all looks fine there..

Running Stage 2 with Dp's and intake. Since it's gotten colder and moved to Stage 2 (don't know if it's coincidence) I will randomly get a shudder under load with partial throttle. It throws the following codes:
P0303
P2AAF
P29CF
P2C77
P29D9
H2FDB

Service light comes on, I reset the codes, and it runs fine for a while. This has happened 3 times since installing Stage 2. I ran stage 1 for months with no issue and the plugs were changed ~ 1k miles ago. Any ideas?

How can you tell if it's the stock DV's? How do you test them to see if they're not able to hold the boost?

I'm getting a 30FC (Exhaust fume turbocharger, Density - Turbocharger, boost pressure too low) on the v203 Sport map, when doing a WOT pull in 4th. Didn't get it when doing the pulls on the v301 map...

We'll not exactly, your fuel pump was on its way out and the increased fueling demand just expedited the process. Im at 41K and still on the original pump, i'm curious as to how it will hold up to the fueling demands of stage 2 myself. Hopefully the currently available HPFP will solve the problems, but that's the same thing that gets said everytime a new one shows up lol

At the Cobb meet yesterday they said their Stage 1 535xi (Intercooler only mod) made 328 whp and 402 wtq on their Mustang dyno here in Austin.
