Congrats on the new 435i. However, there is just something about the new BMW design that doesn't do it for me. From some angles it looks good, from others it just falls apart. Nevertheless, enjoy it.

Waiting for the M2 to come out. Cheaper, better looking? and hopefully lighter than M3/M4

Apparently George, Pierre and I are going.....

While you are at it, I just sent in my registration for Sept 29 BMW QC LCMT event!

plus 2 calabogie days, I have 6 in all, like in past years....

@ Tonybest. With the amount of track experience under your belt you should be done with these "Advanced Driving/Lapping Days" and move onto BMW CCA Racing. Not bored yet...

480 km wren and car performance with no maintenance.

I think I'll take a big drive next summer to the states with it.

480 km range on only $5 of electricity. Never go to a cold car in the winter or a hot car in the summer. Just use the app and start up heating or cooling before I get there.

No, not bored yet.
By being in the solo group, we get mucho time on track alongside racers and/or instructors... so not slow trains ever.
Classes are more interesting and is mainly just a debrief.

Spoke to Emre today and he also quit being an instructor. He started getting scared. Young guys with little experience driving 400hp+ cars asking to be moved up levels because they are faster than others. Bad drivers driving fast powerful cars is a recipe for disaster.

Signing up for club racing... $$$ time mechanical skills Storage and Garage space : Still missing many of these.

I'd rather rent a seat in an enduro.

My sister in-law has a Tesla S - got Christmas eve. Nice present to self. I like it quite a bit. I think we calculated a full charge is around 13$ on the extended battery. You definitely need a 240V charging station at home for the car or recharge is painfully slow. In the short time I used it I found only one niggly thing. The door handles retract when locked. Sucks when you get frozen rain on the car. Nothing to grip to help pry the car door open. I had to gingerly chip away around the door handle. Tons of power and pretty decent handling. A nice choice. I'm waiting for the Tesla X. We'll see how that one goes.

I test drove a Tesla. *REALLY* liked it. Unfortunately, it estimated I would only get about 150 kms on a charge with my driving style, so I guess it's out for me :P

Well, that, and also that I can basically buy TWO M3s for its price.

Just rented in Munich and got upgraded to an F-Type (how I love my status, hehe). Very neat car. Has some very ricey functions though.
