Welcome! If I'm not mistaken, on the 328's that's an estimated fuel economy. On the 335's it's an oil temp gauge.

Does it move closer to 0 when you step on it and move towards 20 when you lift and are coasting?

If it's for fuel economy, it seems to be in kilometers (l/100km= Liters per 100kilometers)

US based cars would be fuel economy (mpg) or oil temperature (Fahrenheit).

Wandering if it was a Canada based car?? What does the speedo look like??

There's a meet at Byers Imports at 10am this Saturday. We are trying to get a group together to cruise. Probably meet at Lennox and leave around 9:30/45

Where is everyone located? I'm about 20 minutes south of Cleveland in North Royalton.

Yes it was a canada car. but my speedo is in mph. I did a ton of research and it is a fuel mileage gauge. It doesnt seem to tell me much because it just kinda is all over the place. i will look more closely at it when i drive the car this weekend. But i also have a mpg option on the readout in the middle of the gauges. So really that gauge is pointless. I kinda wish it was an oil temp gauge lol at least that would be more helpful. Anyways i am off to study the audio section of the forums since i am kinda disappointed in the sound quality of the stock setup.

Speedometer conversion was probably required to bring it to the states.

I don't understand the point of the fuel consumption gauge either, would also much rather have oil temp... but it's lots of fun to watch the fuel consumption dial spin to the left while your RPM's spin to the right.

thats the thing. it goes to 20 when i floor it. lol so i dont think its working correctly

if it happens again, take it to a mechanic he should be able to read code for you, shouldnt charge more then 20-30 bucks

Hey Ohio, been trying to sell my 335xi and haven't had much luck on here or craigslist... Was planning to just keep it since I've done a lot of work on it, but my wife is pushing me to go sedan.

Any suggestions on where/how to sell private or leads for potential buyers would be awesome!
