Question for you clearbra owners out there (especially Pat!):

Can anything be done for a scratch in a clearbra? I accidently put some scratches in my hood piece on the left side when I was trying to clean off a stubborn black stain (tar I think).

Stain gone...scratches left behind...

I tried 3M hand glaze, swirl mark remover, and wax... It's better but not gone...

Crappy thing is... I just got it replaced last week because of a bad rock chip a month ago... It did it's job and protected the paint but it left a big hole.

By the way Goonski... If they're being sticklers at the track, a ski or bike helmet won't do. They rent them out there. I'm outta town all of June so I won't be there. You could borrow mine if you want. Usually they don't kick up a fuss.

I leave town June 2nd until July 5th. If you're not sure you wanna keep tracking your car, you may not wanna bother buying a helmet.

You should come out to the lapping days free ride along on May 19th. It's free and they provide helmets. That way you can see whether you wanna do this for real. The instructors drive and you enjoy!!

All I know is that I'm hooked in a major way! It's like a drug.

Beware though... One of my instructors at an Audi school once said, "You know how you make a small fortune in racing? Start with a big one!"
