Latest pull after getting everything in the car sorted

Waterpump and coolant sensor codes ONLY when I flash exhaust burble on map 7.1. I tested this about 12 times today, flashing back to map 8 and 7 burble on and burble off. I guess my car just doesn't like the burble option but y'kno its ok by me. Is it ok for the motor to correct timing during shifts? I feel like other than that it's finally all sorted out. Charge pipe and FMIC on the way (eventually)

Yep, its about as good as you can get with that combo. Little throttle closures but not bad. enjoy the air in .ca while you can.

I'm getting long cranks, and hpfp shadow codes. Everything else, seems fine. What do you guys think?

this one has a nice dip in rail pressure, is this the smoking gun?

age of HP pump? Ever been replaced? What about injectors?
Rough cold starts? Even after plugs?

Yes depending on fuel

prob mid 12s at say 3rd gear at about 4500. Depends on XI or various other ambient air parameters.

Hpfp age unknown. Over 6 years for sure. New plugs, coils, and recently had the index 12 injectors sent for clean and test. Passed tests. I will make a thread about that later.

Cold and hot long cranks. Happens randomly.

Between that dip, hpfp shadow codes, and long starts I'm leaning on hpfp. I just put hybrids in my other car, So, hopefully that one runs good for a while.

First n54 went TO 62-64K (it was a buy back - I got it at 14K miles in apr08 and it JUST had one HP pump) and the HP pump caused a limp. They replaced it under warranty and I think I had to buy a new line with the LP sensor. Then like at 100K, just after I replaced the injectors bc of cold start very rough running for like 1 min, the SECOND (or third depending on your math) HP pump failed. Again replaced. So, new injectors can cause other strange issues. Symptoms were not that different; rough idle on cold start, and after about 60secs it would be ok.

Boost solenoids brand new, all vacuum hoses replaced, couplers tightened. I do agree with being under target and load. I'm told that the target is set high to prevent over boost, but when I switch to ots maps it's similar. Trying to figure this out.

I've been running an RFP ots map just to see if the car liked it and mine follows target much closer. I'm actually overboosting and getting throttle closures to meet target. But it feels good and corrections are minimal or better than the mhd e40 map I was running before.

That said, i see yours is an older revision(v7) of a flex fuel map, mine is not flex just a blend staged map(v9).

I'm not really sure what else could cause you to miss target aside from a boost leak you missed. Someone more experienced will have to jump in.

I'm running his latest flex fuel map. I've messaged him and he's told me that it's normal, but judging from other logs I'm just not convinced.

Yeah, his site shows v7 being the newest revision for flex maps, i'm just saying, mine might look different because its a newer style file.

My HPF keeps crashing.
LP looks crap to.
So are trims.

What do you guys think? Bad HPFP or LPFP draging down HPFP? (HPFP and LPFP Walbro 450 changed two months ago) New LPFS aswell. All new injectors.

Running E30.

Yes they both look bad, but they are brand new. Find it hard to belive that both should be braking in the same day.

Been chasing boost not hitting target. Have tightened everything I can think of on the hot side, looking at vacuum leak next as I recently replaced the brake booster hardline. Wouldn't a vacuum leak on the wastegate cause wgdc to go higher that what it is at the moment?

So I just recently did a log coming to work. 3rd gear pull.

Let me know what you think. I dont have much experience with the logs so not 100% sure what's good and bad.

https://datazap.me/u/e82dan/log-1556...ata=2-5-6-9-18

Thank you for the input!

Well. Your short term trims are fucked.

You aren't logging lambda but i'd bet thats not pretty. I'd keep your foot out of it until you figure out why bank 2 is flatlined and bank 1 is adding almost 20% through the range. I'm sure thats the reason for your corrections mid pull. Are you running blended fuel?

Any recent maintenance or problems you are chasing? Whats the setup? I'd say do it again with logged lambda but i'd really rather you didn't go wide open until you figure if your o2s are fucked or some other issue is present causing that.

I will do another log once I'm off work, and I know for sure my O2 sensor is bad from bank 2. Fuel is 91 from CA, so not that great.

I've changed the trans fluid along with the sleeves under the valvatronic unit and it fixed it slightly, but it's still there. Every now and then I'll get superknocking code for cylinder 6, but it has gone a few times to cylinders 1, 3, and 5.

Only issue I have is my trans has late shifts from 2nd to 3rd A LOT, all other gears are ok, but I can still feel the late shift (auto transmission)

Currently running DP, 5"FMIC, chargepipe with diverter valves, xHP stage 2 tune and stage 2 + MHD

Here's the 2nd log. This one felt a little worse. The pull wasn't as strong and from the looks of it I had more corrections this run than last.
