Good Morning all,
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. So this morning when I tried to roll up my right side rear window, it got stuck down, and they're forecasting rain today in SD!! Just my luck!

Does anyone know where I can fix/repair the stuck window? I think the motor is worn out. There's a whirring sound when I try to roll it up, but the window won't roll up. Thanks.

Not yet. I got a few quotes from dealership and others and it's upward $400. Found a youtube DIY, ordered the part and will try to fix it this weekend. I think/hope it's just the regulator that's bad and the motor is still OK. We'll see.

Motor is fine from what you described. Oem part is pretty expensive so the pricing from dealer sounds about right!

Anyone in San Diego who needs anything for their e9x n54/55 feel free to reach out!

Thanks, Jeef. It doesn't look too bad from the youtube DIY, but I probably screw it up so I might need your help.
BTW, I just got another oil +1 qt error again, within 3 months from another +1 qt error. I'm gonna need another oil change from you. I'm hoping that leakage that we saw last time not getting worst.

Lol...well, took me a few hours but finally managed to finish the job. I was struggling with putting in the new regulator, since the tab that goes thru the hole on the glass wasn't in proper position. Had to jimmy it in, but yeah, it works now...saved me a few hundred buck!
People on the forum were saying that the regulators do go out often, so I'm ready for the driver side..I'm the shit now when it comes to replacing window regulator..hahaha.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forums. Currently driving an e92 'IS'. Was wondering if there's any bimmer clubs/groups that likes to go on cruises and such that I could be a part of. Not interested in SD BMW CCA. None of my friends are car enthusiasts so looking to replace my friends. Joking aside, just looking to find people with bimmers that loves to go carve up some mountain roads.

Saturday afternoon, 12/16- Saw a white e92 w/tinted tail lights on Nobel parked on a corner, possibly in a fender bender and what seemed to be the owner on the corner arguing with another party. Hope you're alright!

Also the same afternoon, saw a black e92 with some decal(s) on the rear window at The Shops at La Jolla Village. Exhaust sounds great! Maybe it was a PE or PE mod? Would like to know..
