Got mine out a little and started to bed in my new Cool Carbon brake pads and also installed my oil catch can. But I have been working on others cars more than mine.

New Ohio 335i Owner...
Hey Guys,
Just purchased a used Montego/Dakota leather E92 6MT last month with 25k miles for 27K. Had to drive to Marietta, Ga. to pick up the car- but we made a little vacation out of the trip- so it was good. I live in the Dayton area (Bellbrook exactly for those familiar with Dayton). I am going to be doing the JB3 PNP this Summer- and am looking to do the H&R Sport springs and **********s M6 reps perhaps next year. It sounds like from doing some extensive reading that I can expect that the car will need a good alignment after all these suspension mods- does anyone know of a reputable shop to do this kind of work (install springs and perform alignment) on these cars? I'll go to Cinci if I have to- just trying to get some ideas of my options- as I want this done correctly. Loving the car so far- I just sold my 91 300ZX TT that was making about 350-360 WHP- so the 335 isn't quite up to that....yet. The power on the 335 is so deceiving, though, becasue of all the low end torque. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys- I'd appreciate any suggestions regarding shops for the suspension work! Dent Repair Bumper?
Hi Guys...
I have a small dent on my rear bumper that I need to get fixed...I am going to a place called Dent Solutions in Columbus that says will repair it for $300+Taxes... I have used Dent magic (On sawmill) that I worked with 7 months ago, however the paint has already started chipping off (This was recommended by MAG BMW surprisingly) .. I dont think I will use them again Any people know of good honest guys who know their stuff (apart from Achbach) who are good at bumper repair work? Please let me know |

Thanks a lot David!
Yes, I did speak to Ed.... I think I will go to Dent Solutions since you've had good experience with them... Is true performance very expensive? I will be paying $300 for my repair at DentSolutions |

Dent solutions is good for light stuf. The other guys for major work and better paint quality, but you pay for it. True Performance is almost as expensive as Achbach. It will good enough for 300 bucks. The other guys will be double.

Hey, anyone know of a place in or around cincinnati that does good tint work? I am looking to use pinnacle F1 tint and seeing as it's not cheap, I'd like a reputable place with some experience on our cars. Also, what did you guys with tint do for the dot matrix area on the rear?
Pics of your tint are always helpful |

I got mine tinted at Shades in Fairfield on Muhlhauser Road, it's just one guy that does it all but he knows his stuff and did a great job.
Don't have any recent pictures of my tint but here's one from last summer, it's 30% all around. |

What type of tint did you guys use, did they offer you any sort of warranty on their work, have you had any issues with the glass edges from the up and down, and what did you guys do for the dot matrix on the rear?
Thanks a bunch already too btw! |

30% Llumar ATX, IIRC it's their top shelf product, it being ceramic versus metallic (which sometimes interferes with keyless entry/radio reception/GPS signals).
Lifetime Warranty, and it's held up pretty damn good so far, no complaints and I haven't noticed any problem areas. I have a sedan so I have no personal knowledge of the dot-matrix issue. ...and FWIW I paid around $320 out the door, but don't regret a thing, he took like 50 bucks off the top because he kinda talked me into upgrading from the $250 metallic ATR film. |

30% Madico ceramic tint all around except the windshield, where I have 50% Madico ceramic tint. In total, it was around $475 out the door. It has lifetime warranty on the film and labor, and I haven't had any problems with it. I highly recommend it!
No dot-matrix issue for me either since I have a sedan. I guess you can put vinyl around the dot-matrix area in the coupe.

I did vinyl on top of the back window. I have 38% metallic and there is no interference issues with my nav, comfort access, radio, or anything else on all of my cars. I always considered that BS. Never had an issue on any car with metallic tint.

Thanks! Funny you say that... I actually have a brand new set of summer wheels in boxes at my place. Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to put them on.
