Hey guys
I live close to Walnut Creek area and needs a shop that can "correctly" install one of my rear coilover adjustor perch. I just got fed up with the shop that installed it (they said they knew how to do coilovers and mine was the first one they did) so prefer to take it somewhere close that can fix this. TIA

Can anyone suggest me a place to go get my car diagnosed in the list provided because my car probably threw alot of codes because last night it wouldn't start so when I held the start button i'd hear the engine turning but the lights were blinking like a strobe light. First three lights that came on together was ABS, DTC off, and I think Brake light all were in yellow but after I got my car to start all the warnings went away.
So I left my car sitting there for about 6 hours now, when I go put my key in and turn on all the electrical I see no warnings. I turn on the car and the first thing I see is a exclamation point in a gear, so i'm guessing it's a gear indicator warning. I turn off my car and it goes away but now the Service Engine Soon light turns on, it worries me so I need help and don't want to pay a crap load just to get my car diagnosed by the stealership. Unless someone lives near me that has an OBD tool and is willing to help me diagnose my car to figure out what codes it's throwing so I can save some money. |

Hmm not sure about shops in Fairfield, but Napa/Vallejo have some good ones if you're ever in the area.

Yeah definitely! I'm getting some work done at Revolution Auto in Vallejo (Formerly know as GarageWorks....they've expanded). The guys there used to be master technicians at BMW, so they know what they're doing.
In Napa, I always get my oil done at Eur-Asia Autowerkes. Nice shop, never had any problems.

Please update the master list... update GarageWorks to Revolution Auto for both installs and paint/body. Revolution Automotive and Collision 3211 Sonoma Blvd Vallejo, CA 94590 (707) 552-5200 The good folks at GW basically joined forces with the paint/body shop next door at their old location and moved to a larger space. These guys do it all... installs, dealership spec maintenance and service, anything custom. Haven't had the chance to visit the new shop since I moved down to SoCal but I can only imagine there will be a ton of customer cars with custom bodywork now that they can do that stuff in house. Damn, I miss NorCal

For repair go to John at ABS Alternative BMW Service. Just got my car back from them after the lovely water pump issue.

Any recommendations for pre purchase inspection shops, specifically in the south Bay Area? No responses when posted in the California forum. Plenty of responses to meets and installs of various parts though...

Just got back from Invisi-Guard in Belmont. Had my 335is there for tint and clear bra. Great price and great work. Called around to a few shops for a price and Jeremey and Rob beat them all. Found them on yelp (just put in Jeremy's name and clear bra) tons of good reviews so I pulled the trigger. (707) 328-5865 is their number.
