Bought a M Sport rear bumper from ebay needs a respray which I will do next week

Merlin335i very kindly gave me a diffuser which has been chemically cleaned and ready for wrapping on Monday

Dilemma, hit something in the road and ripped under tray from the bumper, bottom of the bumper is a mess. Sods feckin law after purchasing a rear bumper the day before!!!!

Anyway, got my bonus coming in January so will be looking to upgrade the front end, do i go M3 or stick with a M Sport to tie in with the new rear end, will a M3 bumper look odd? Any other suggestions?

It kinda does.
Just be weary that JB4 is code auto clear. So as well as holding the O2 code off, all other codes will be cleared too. Not really a problem, as any serious issues will result in a map 4 switch.

True, but hardly worth wiring in a separate dp fix... If you have a problem, turn off code clearing to diagnose.

That's not good to hear.

I've done something similar a few years ago in my M5. Hit a fox and it ripped through the near side completely.

As for changing the front....personally think why not. I think for example an M3 front bumper would look cool and still tie in with the rest of the sport kit.

I've been looking at 1M bumpers for mine lol.

Taking longer than I thought as the bumper was a little more damaged than 1st thought. Progressing well though considering I am doing it in between meetings!

Had to heat it up to repair the dents but came out ok.

Will be wrapping this tomorrow so will update when that's done.
