Austin, TX - The Thursday dinner thread

0) wait what about pluckers... their buffet on Wednesday.....

1) I went to Elephant bar once in AZ. Food was OK, like most chains...I can't remember what I got, but I don't remember walking out of there saying "I'd go there every week"

2) Canolli Joes is overprices IMO. The quality of food isn't great....but if you're looking to pig out on italian food, I can't think of any better place

3)BJs...you guys know how I feel about that palce... always open to it...

4) On a side note, you guys should try Fogo de Chau / Estancia... those are Brazilian steakhouses that you can really pig out on, and they're GOOD places..... (probably not good for our weekly meet though... they're roughly $40 / person. More of a place you'd take your date to...

5) There's also Red Robin / Fuddruckers. I know we've gone to Fuds, so Red Robin is still open

6) There's central market as well, but that's more of healthy food...

7) There's Rudy's on 360

8) There's County Line BBQ on 360 and Bee Caves

9) There's Freebird's on Bee Caves and Mopaq. This place isn't bad at all to be honest. It's really reasonably prices, and you'll really enjoy the food

10) There's Texas Roadhouse on Bee caves and Mopaq

Brandy and I loved that place......anyhow....I don't care where we go this week. So is Cannoli Joe's like a family style buffet (like Maggianos / Buca di Bepo or is it like a buffet line buffet)??
Let's get a tentative head count for Wed ~ 7:30pm.....gota get back to work, a teen just got smacked in his face and had 3 of his teeth pushed inward!!!

Dayuumm Fogo de Chau, don't have that much $$ for a weeknight dinner!!!! Think either 5-10 are good options, if any of you guys have never been to Texas Roadhouse, imo, the best value non-fancy steakhouse...the hot rolls are

I thought TX Roadhouse was on I-35 / Stassney, unless they opened another one off Mopaq/BeeCaves? (Think TX Land and Cattle is off mopaq/beecaves)

Now that you mention it, I nominate Tx Roadhouse or Plucker's!!

We meet either Thur or Wed and alternate between N and S Austin, this week happens to be on Wed !!
