if Bottas wouldnt able to take the fastest laps it d be a total disaster for for him.. letting Max the best line possible for a dive in the first corner wasnt a smart car positioning at all.. though im not sure Lewis could keep Red Bulls behind today..

I pondered a few things about the engine regs what the pre race show-

Why aren’t they raising the various engine parts allocation to 4 with races going from 19 a few years ago to 23 next year?

Why isn’t there more penalties levied against teams (Merc) that are just swapping the ICE left and right in the half half of this season?

When they do take engine penalties why don’t these teams just replace all the parts -ICE, turbo, both MGUs, electronics, trans- since they’re starting at the back anyways? I thought once they take the penalty, the new part becomes a part of their active inventory and can be used going forward.

The WDC looks like it’s a wrap unless Mercedes resorts to trying to take out Max on track, Ham and his car just doesn’t have the pace to keep up with Max. Pretty ho hum race outside of the first 3 corners. The field just separated and no one was really challenging anyone else until Checo caught up with Ham in the last 10 laps. Good to see my Prancing Horse pick up the pace lately, gives me hopes they won’t go into next year with a big engine power disadvantage.

Depends on the person, the 2 mega max fans here do allow their bias to make everything they say absolutely biased, sometimes to the point of conspiracy - if you can't back it up with irrefutable fact (not he said she said) but keep stating it as so then it's conspiracy.

Again I personally don't care who wins, if max wins then congratulations we are looking at the future of F1. And I can't wait to see how he stacks up against drivers like Charles and George (once they get good cars) who have far superior junior careers.

Congrats to Max, it’s his WDC and RBs constructors championships to lose as others said.

For me a second boring race in a row, this one was worse than COTA IMO. I hope the changes next year actually allow a car to follow close behind without overheating everything and destabilizing it so bad it makes racing nearly impossible. They were trying to hype the coming fight late in the race between HAM and PER but almost everyone knew he would catch him but wouldn’t be able to pass because of it. Even with three DRS zones, no bueno.
