Just got home from picking up my car and I love it! man the wait was worthwhile to have exactly the car I wanted. So many cool new features to learn about. Anyhow, I am only home to get some grub and then I am off for a drive and to shoot some pics. I'll post them up later.

I also did ED. My car is still in customs

My CA will have no info until it gets to VPC...

I was hoping to have it for Thanksgiving but I don't think it's gonna make it since I'm in Redmond, WA.

It's been "in transit" since Bremerhaven. It has not been changed since docking at Port Hueneme.

This is what I've been told from someone at my dealership (not my CA). It took them over a week to get me some sort of explanation as to why my car is not showing up on their computers.

I took some quick pics today...This car is Awesome! As you can see, I already broke into five of the ten boxes that have been taking up space in my garage.

Hahaha! I am glad to see I am not the only one who modded their car on the first day! I forgot the camera yesterday when I went out and only got this one in the driveway before I left. Too bad, cause the weather was crappy today. Oh well, here's two shots of my car. (not sure my son made the right choice)

They are not great, but I plan to take better ones this coming weekend after some detailing work and hopefully some better weather.

BTW - I hate BMW brake pads. 50 miles on my car and the wheels are already showing a decent amount of dust. Thats about my only complaint right now.

The drive was fun….except it was really difficult to stay within the break in period limitations. Okay, I confess, I had to get on it a few times. My buddy who was driving his 550 played with me the whole way back. There are some long lonely stretches on I-15 in Idaho. I tried to resist but that engine got the best of me. Did I tell you that this car is awesome? You’re going to love it!!!

Congrats to all,of you that have received their cars already!!!!!

Mine is currently sitting at the dealership. It got delivered on Saturday. Called my SA today and of course as usual he's giving me the run around on when it will be ready. I tell ya when that survey comes in to rate the sales experience, etc he is not going to be getting very good marks at all.

Got my call from the CA today. He said the car arrived to Crevier this morning and that they'll have it all prepped by 7:30 PM tonight for pick-up! How's that for QUICK service!
