I've had my car for 6 months, but I've been lurking for a while.

I received the 2011 West maps and I've been using it all day today and it works fine. The only problem is that I can't find the "Speed and Red Light Camera" section in the information screen. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I just got mine to work on my second attempt! Thanks again to those who supported this and those sharing!!

I used a TDK DVD-R and burned at 2x speed and my car didn't recognize it. On my second attempt I used a Verbatim DVD+R at 4x speed and my car recognized it within seconds!

I read through this thread but I'm still not clear on who the right guy is to contact to have a disk made. Can someone please PM me and let me know? I have an '08 so I believe it's the professional unit and I need the east coast disk.

Hi, new to burning navi maps and just got my first BMW so i need a little help here. I have a mac and want to burn it to the blank dvd. What software can i use for the mac to burn it and what dvd will read in the car? (08 328xi coupe) I'm currentyl downloading it on utorrent which is going slow and from the mega website. please help cause dealer couldnt update it when i bought the car yesterday. Thanks in advance

Is the image provided in this thread on that lame ass Fileserve website the Professional version? I need the pro for my 2008 328 coupe, p/n ends in 893.

Anybody have a link to a good torrent file?

it doesn't seem to want to download tho whole file for me, i download 2.0 gb from the east version and then it stops!

The east disk is 2,870,848,624 bytes zipped. It extracts to an iso file of 4,204,920,832 bytes. Is it stopping at exactly 2G? (GiB or GB?). What is your system? It's been a long time since there's been a 2GB limit on file size on any modern filesystem.

well i don't think i have a limit since i already downloaded files that are a lot bigger? I got an older computer with windows xp, dual-core 2.8 ghz and 2 gb of ram, i don't know if that helps.
and yes it stop exactly at 2.0 gb!!!

oh and yes...i'm using internet explorer 8
