Do you mind if I ask what your set up is/was on the e90? I just picked up a 2011 very much like this one and am considering different csl style wheel options. Thx!

Look at this site:

http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/

Put E90 in the drop down and it shows the OEM types offered and that fit E90s. Others might fit if they are the same size and offset. Watch the weight as some are heavier than others.

You can get rebuilt used OEM wheels on eBay at a reasonable price.

Identify 18" 15-spoke wheels

These 18" 15-spoke wheels came on my 2008 E93. I can't seem to find out where they originally came from, I will look at the backside later for PN's. I was told they are M3 wheels, but I'm not sure. They are coming off and will be sold, but what are they ACTUALLY for?

There is a 19" 10-spoke Style 166 wheel used on M6 and M5, the styling of the spokes is identical.

Turns out they are “Drag Wheels” brand, style DR43 in 18x8.5. Info online is slim.

I recently upgraded from 156's to 162's and my gas mileage has plummeted. Is there a thread somewhere that talks about gas mileage based on the different wheels types? TIA.

Here's a relevant article: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiret...jsp?techid=108
The effect should be quite moderate unless making a radical change.

Anyone know what style these wheels are? Seller says they're 18x9 et30. Trying to find the rim weight.

Thanks.

why hasn't this thread been updated? there's plenty of LCI pics in the comments, but they should be edited into the original post. and why aren't there any weight specifications?

NITTO NT05 Tires on stock M-Sport Wheels 8.5"

I need new tires for my 335i and I have 265 tires on it already. I would like to put 265/35R18 97W tires on the rear but it looks like they are rated for a minimum of 9" rim width. Will they work on my 8.5" rims? If not, what is my next best option?

My new to me "OEM+" wheels. Style 197 that I had custom painted by a friend who works at a BMW dealer. Thoughts?

I'm thinking to upgrade my summer wheels on my e90, I currently have the style 188 - http://www.bmwstylerims.com/bmw-wheel-style-188/ .

Does it worth going aftermarket? Or should I stick to OEMs?

Yeah, there are great aftermarket options that are very reasonably priced. OEM you know they are going to fit and how they will look without any homework, but I think it's worth it to upgrade the style, and potentially get some extra rubber under the car with an aftermarket solution.
