Quick question I wanted to ask some more experienced forum members . I'm using the new v5 5-10 beta maps on my 07 335 with AT. Was wondering if most of you are running the default boost settings in map 1 or 2? I'm currently running a fmic, downpipes, and k&n drop in filter would it be safe for me to run higher boost?

I tried loading the maps today and the ECU resetting message would not go away after updating the firmware. Tried twice no luck. Had to revert to non-beta 12-17 maps Anyone know how to fix this?

I would think you should be fine running Map 2. You only have 91 octane there correct? I don't have much experience with 91 as 93 is available where I live, so maybe some of the others from CA can comment. Do you happen to know what you car autotuned to before with the previous 12-17 maps?

Thats weird...YOu were able to load the 12-17 firmware and not the new ones, but yet after failed attempts at the 5-10 firmware, you were able to load the 12-17 firmware with no problems! I would try downloading the 5-10 maps again, maybe a corrupt download of some kind as there are TONS of viruses these days with the world coming to a end!

I am in the land of crapGas 91 and have fmic, catless dps, and DCI. I usually back off a little bit from map 2, like 40 vs 45

Thanks for the additional input. I didn't know for sure what guys with 91 run.

I do have access to 93 in some areas near me. I was wondering if guys were adjusting the map parameters at all in map 1 or 2 . I've been running map 2 at the default settings with no problems. I was just wondering if guys were tweaking the maps to get more.

Any word on if the NA map is coming back? What the car lacked in power, it made up for with an intoxicating exhaust note.

Installed the maps and did a WOT and I can definately feel the difference. I do not know if I had the DIC before since my unit is new, only a month old, but I updated to DIC and it is a HUGE difference. It's hard keeping it under 80! LOL

I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet... Did anyone read the read-me file?

start hearing a what? Shiv can you finish that sentence for us plz?

I ask because I have the newest DME software on my 2007 and if I let the car idle for a while, like sitting in a drive thru, then the idle starts to fluctuate a bit. So much that you can feel a slight shaking in the car when it fluctuates too low.

So i'm just curious as to what the end of that sentence is.

This was when running the previous maps right before these new ones (3-30 maps). Have not had a chance to try the new ones yet

btw this doesnt happen when the tune is out of the car.

Thanks,
Mike

this thread is about 5-10 and not 3-30 . try the new ones and see if that problem on 3-30 is still there.

I just got done testing out the 5-10 maps on my 6at. I used the DIC maps and am coming from the 3-30 maps.

I have to say these 5-10 maps got rid of my "farting" sound so far and are much smoother and the power seems more linear.

They are at least 28% better than the 3-3- maps and 46% better than the 12-17 maps from what I've experienced so far.

I had that same problem on the 3-30 maps. But I installed my ETS IC at the same time I upgraded to the 3-30 maps so I wasn't sure if it was the FMIC or the maps.

But now on 5-10 it seems the very slight rumble at idle is not really there anymore. My car did not jump much in rpm at idle, maybe 100 at the most but I could definitely feel the vibration in my seat when at a light or something. It appears to be almost 100% remedied with the new maps.

Its properly calibrated for feeling the differences in DIC.

I don't think the DIC jokes will ever get old.
