Yeah which supports what i was saying. Between Cobbs knowledge of tuning and the DMEs ability the variances will not be as great as some people think.

I don't think so. I think it has more to do with the fact that COBB was running their own OTS Stage 2+ maps on the COBB 335i.

But we'll find out soon.

We already know that there is plenty of power to be made with ATR and a functional meth kit.

Probably a race gas map before a meth map. At least I hope anyway

I don't know why someone doen't rush to a dyno to see what are the power gains. Is everyone on this forum going broke ? I can't stand installing one power mod and not knowing what difference it has made...

I don't think you have to go to a dyno to feel that you gained power with this thing...

It's about how much power exactly have you gained over stock and Stage 1, and how it compares to other tunes/flashes.

virtual dynos tell more than half of the power story AND they're in real on the road conditions that can't be replicated on any dyno

Also how are the exhaust fumes with catless downpipes?

Will I need to keep my windows rolled up to keep myself from smelling like a gas can?

Sorry to continue this, but I'm curious as well, since that's the first mod I'd have to do if I want to go to stage 2. Downpipes replace the first set of cats, no?

So by you saying as long as one keeps one set of cats, you're referring to the secondary set farther down?

I wish there was a place where you could read up on how all this stuff works and pros and cons of different setups (catless, high flow cats, secondary cats, etc), when you're new to this...

Yes. You need downpipes. High flow catted or Catless.

Your secondaries are in the exhaust system which is only a recommended upgrade.

For Stage 2 I would strongly recommend downpipes and intercooler as your first mods. Then I'd be thinking about an intake and exhaust system.

yeah there is a lot of info on the forum about exhaust so you either put some time into researching or you can open an exhaust thread.
I tried different setups , thrown away lots of money and realized for MY taste and performance wise the best is to just have one set of 100 Cell cats in the midpipes. No smell , no drone and perfect sound. Go Catless downpipes anyway , thats for sure .

dzenno runs the JB4 in Map 4 (stock + CANbus) with Cobb. You will need to switch to Map 0 on the JB4 to log and read live data off the Cobb AP. Whatever you do, don't run the JB4 in any other map but Map 0 or 4!

I uninstalled my AP and reset the ECU to see if that would fix it. Reinstalled Stage 2 without FMIC and I am still seeing a max of 15psi.

Stage 2+ (aggressive) maps are AMAZING. Had the opportunity to drive the Texas hill country this afternoon and was shocked how quickly 140 came up on the speedo. The actual amount of power is less impressive as the delivery of the power.

Butter.
