That's what they claimed...never any proof. The word on the street was that the thing never ran. They also wanted to charge 120k for that piece of garbage turbo setup...I mean look at the welds! I've never touched a piece of welding equipment in my life, and I am pretty confident that I could make a better go of it than they did.

Rube Goldberg would be envious.

You just can't make something that needlessly complicated and not have it be a maintenance nightmare.

I still don't see how you could drive this in any bad weather. Seems like you would get the turbine housing rocket hot and expose it to water, salt, you name it.. just not a well thought out design.

Lies! lol

... but I would expect full spool by 3500 rpm or so otherwise it wouldn't be that great of a dd and a minimum of 600-650 on a dynojet.

Funny thing is that when you move the power band up higher in the RPM range like that and have a larger free'er flowing turbo that spools later you get another side effect:

In town gas mileage goes WAY up. When I was running my Evo with a stock turbo pushing 24psi I was getting 13mpg. Upgrading the turbo to a much larger FP Red and I jumped to 19mpg...I was in boost less around town and needed less fuel to put put around.

Yeah but the further u move it up, the more it automatically takes away from DD capabilities. I mean check out that HPF stage 5 M3 graph which has full spool at 5200 rpm and could be beat by plenty of less powerful cars by that time.
