@ Terry

I don't agree to ban and you know you once did me a favour and provided information to me I needed to know. Why don't you just turn around your negative energy and be constructive. It's really not funny how you behave most of the time, at least I don't get it. Shiv did a great job, is it that hard for you to accept so that you try hard to find something negative ( this time it doesn't work ) to continue your destructive behaviour ? You waste your potential and my time.

Cheers
Eugen

We'll see what happens with the new DCT M3 runs against a modded Step 335i. No " I missed a shift excuses " there........

Honestly.

I'll take an M over a modded 335 all week long.
I'm just waiting for the e90 M3.

Hell, I can buy an Evo and mod it to beat a Ferrari, but is it a Ferrari ? NO.

A modded 335 is just that. A modded car.

AMEN, Shiv I love what you are doing. But guys, I must say I will be buying the 09 M3 with DCT, DSG or whatever they wind up calling it.

I have no problems with Wires. Nor do I own a Procede to care about wires or not. I mentioned to someone that it required additional wires and JonMartin disagreed.... I just want to clarify to him that he not well informed.

I don't have a problem with wires at all. I just never understand why it's not all upfront information. If its true that the competation (e.g. xede) can't do whatever it is he is doing, why not share the information?

Let's look at Horsepower per dollar.
AA XEDE $1200 per for ~ 325 whp = $3.69 / HP
TT $599 for ~ 310 whp = $1.93 / HP
Procede 2.0 $1300 w/o exhaust probably makes ~ 355 hp so = $3.66 / HP

So all in all, The XEDE and Procede are very comparable from a cost per HP perspective so XEDE users shouldn't feel at all bad about their purchase. Both are great products. TT users are for a different kind customer that suits their needs just fine.
All great products that meet all kinds of different needs.

I agree!
A modded 335 will never be equal to a stock e9x M3. Just like how most people in the Honda-tech forum thinks their HB's with a swap is better than a ferrari just cause it can trap low ET's. Ferrari is a ferrari and a 335 or any modded car is just that. End of the day the m3 or ferrari will get you more females.

PROcede v2 is a preliminary release, nothing is finalized. Shiv gave us some information to know where we go with the PROcede. The rest is still open and gives room for implementation. So hard to understand ?

When v2 is ready for mass consumption, all PROcede users are welcome to the upgrade. No wait.

Thanks so much.
I should have my car back out of fuel pump hell in about 2 weeks.

Let's put it this way. We all know the procede currently has connections for boost adjustment, af adjustment, and timing adjustment. We can also derive from his posts that this latest round of changes would require additonal parameters (e.g. mph, temperature, *maybe* vanos, etc). So it follows you need additonal wires. Customers of his are flat out asking if you need additonal wires, and he isn't answering. What's the big deal? People will gladly install a wire or two to pickup 20rwhp.

Part of Shiv's job is to create buzz. Fom the looks of this thread he's doing a great job. And when the thread starts to slow down, along comes Terry right on cue and keeps the buzz going. No telling how many new orders Shiv's received just from this thread alone. Shiv ought to give Terry part of his profits for all the business he's helped to generate.
