I like the V710's a lot...they might work the best too because I don't plan on lowering right away

They're nice wheels, but there are so many options out there. Everyone has VMRs. Look around (outside of e90post vendors too) and decide what you really like.

Here is a picture of my car with Gunmetal V710s. The V710s are very nice wheels.

I've looked around a lot (so much so that I'm just finding the same wheels) and I keep coming back to these...they'll likely be the way to go

For that price range new, they're probably your best bet. I just like original, interesting, and rare wheels.

It's nice if you compared to other replica wheels, but they are worse than your stock rims in terms of quality. The 18" VB3 CSL replicas are indeed heavier than the OEM 19" CSL / ZCP rim in the same width (18X9.5 compared to 19X9.5)

+1 on the VMRs but hey you get what you pay for. IMO the best replicas on the market is Alufelgen CS7

I like the CS7's, just don't want 19's...I'm now also looking at the Forgestar F14's...a little more expensive than I was planning on but huge weight savings and a stronger wheel

Hmm....... Two misconceptions:

1. Weight savings in sacrifice of load rating is BAD
2. Flow-formed cast is not always better. In fact, the construction method is only as good as how you designed the wheels.

You might want to read this first:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...2&postcount=11

I'd be very cautious with their 18" offerings. It's too good to be true.

Alufelgen has been getting great reviews and I like their SF-71 design.

Well, I spent today winterizing the vehicles. Washed and vacuumed my E90 and the F350 and put two coats of Collonite on each. Installed winter mats, swapped my wheels, and washed/waxed the summer wheels for storage.

Tired now.

So someone effed with my car. I got 3 nice dirty footprints on my hood which left decent scratches (no dents).
Also got 2 scratches on my rear fender/bumper from a possible sideswipe.
Anyone got a buffer, or recommendation where to take it to to see if it can be buffed out?
I've had terrible luck with this car so far.

Wow, so many haters out there.

I would recommend giving Rick (rickrack) a call. He's in Wakefield and his work is TOP NOTCH!

That sucks bro. I have a Porter cable orbital but it won't do anything on this BMW paint. Give rick rack a call. He detialed my car and it came out awesome.

A PC 7424 can handle BMW paint just fine. Perhaps your pad/polish selection is off.

How deep are the scratches? If you can feel them with your nail, a polish isn't going to do much. Can you post up a pic or two?

I could probably take care of it for you, but my schedule is crazy right now. Just really busy all the time it seems. But yeah, go see Rick at Unique Car Care if you want it done right. As someone with plenty of detailing experience on personal and friends/family cars, Rick is the only guy within 200mi that I would ever let touch my paint.

Gahhh, I hate black. Looks so good clean, but I regret it now.

Town Fair Tire. Got an alignment for $49 (originally $89?). They didn't do camber, but great price for a quick job.
LOL @ my before specs:

Update on the suspension:
Started getting a little squeaky. I can only hear it with the windows down and when going slow over uneven pavement.
Solution: keep windows up

After measurements look pretty good from what I can see. Are you planning on running camber plates? The e92 benefits tremendously from increased camber in the front, not to mention you could probably get your caster up to 9+ which would give you a much better steering effect.

Black cars are soo high maintenance...

David told me the squeak can be fixed by wrapping the metal springs with rubber...the hard part is to find rubber that can fit it.
