Ugh...
There's still a problem guys. I thought the error would come on and go away (which it did) but it comes ON & OFF throughout the whole drive. Definitely needs to be worked on some more. Were 1/2 way there though! The lights haven't blacked out ONCE...now all we got to do is fix the error.

[QUOTE=SES_D;1709173]UPDATE
James sent up some capacitors that are just plug and play add on's to the APEX kit. Before the capacitor install, the fogs would be on, produce an error at about 40 seconds into the start, and then shut off. AFTER the capacitor install, the fogs would go on, still produce an error at about 40 seconds into the start, BUT STAY ON. I've tested it with the car being both running and idle. Which means, the capacitor did not fix the error, however it did make the fogs stay on and work. [QUOTE] so I am confused ... do you have the error or not ? ![]() ![]() |

To clarify, both E90 and E92 get error message. Error goes away and lights stay on for E92. Error stays and lights go off for E90.
Based on PM from SES, with capacitor fix, error will go away but pop up again while driving, but lights will stay on. No update as to if/when Creative will ship the capacitor fix out to E90 owners. |

Has anyone tried the umnitza HID anti error devices, they look similar to the capacitors. http://jlevistreetwerks.com/p990/%FC...c783dc4a946bd6

hey you guys could try this:http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=472463
it worked on me and a friends OEM xenon swap because he didnt use OEM e90 ballast, he used Osram, it would work fine with the car off but with the car on, lights would flicker and go off...so we got 2 of these capacitors described in teh link from radio shack, they were only about 5 bucks and we put them on, now they work perfectly engine on or off!!! its worth a try if you guys havent received your capacitors yet... |

+1 I have AIMed him & PMed him numerious times. He's giving us the impression that he's ignoring the situation. I hope this isn't true.
What do we do now? Does anyone still have his number? I remembered them listing it as their primary source of contact in their sig. Who has bought fogs from him & needs/wants a refund? There has to be more of you than me & Nyc3r...please chime in!
