Slower spool more top end.
They apparently flow enough that even on pump fuel they run out of fuel. I'll put them on over the wknd...then wait for the intercooler. |

spent 14 hours on install so far.
Hi flow drain hits on the engine mount cannot tighten manifold bolts or it will break. actuater hits on the engine mount when the manifold is tight. Turbo snout has no clearance to put rear inlet on. to get the turbo on i had to take the studs out, only left two closest to the front on. Something is different on this turbo. It does no fit. |

Is the rear turbo clocked for lhd? Rhd and lhd rear turbo's compressor housings are clocked at different angles to mount a different charge air pipe to clear the steering rack

Emailed rob, replied instantly.
He first said it fits and make sure you have the right drains on the turbo. Asked if they have been tampered with. He said the snout is bigger and is more difficult then old RBS to install. I pulled the manifold half off the studs enough to install the inlets and clamped it. Once I tightened the manifold it wasnt that bad. I had to take the engine mount out for the first time on any removal/install. Last edited by Brule; 02-07-2016 at 02:56 AM.. |

front turbo went in in 10 minutes.
the coolant line hits on the new oil drain. I just loosened the new drain and it fit. Seems to be that both oil drains interfere with oem fitment a little bit. Rob has told me that he has sold 200 without issues so I'm not sure whats going on with mine. I'm telling you that if you fit the rear drain in hits on the motor mount end of story. Image of rear squashed inlet because the snout is behind the block.
I found the front oil drain clamps impossible to fit so I used worm clamps. Last edited by Brule; 02-07-2016 at 03:12 AM.. |

everything else is going well.
I have both turbos on tight, all lines on the turbo and on the block except one rear oil drain, which will be piss easy i have a tonne of room. I'm cruising now just the easy bits to go, and custom pipes to the intercooler. Last edited by Brule; 02-07-2016 at 03:05 AM.. |

Put rear drain on with supplied clamps to the block.
put the water pump to coolant pipe to block. Tried to put motor mount back on but I have to pull the drain off the turbo to fit the mount. Hopefully it works or ill have to put the oem drain back on. |
