More than 2BRs is going to be disproportionately expensive. The older demographics that are less sensitive to high rent are soaking up the small inventory of larger rental units, and driving the prices up (as are the Towns that refuse to allow developers to build larger units). If you want 3BR+, I'd reccomend looking at renting a house. Much better bang for your buck. Somerville/Malden have some good new options. Check out Maxwell's Green and Assembly Row (Square). there are also some good options in Fresh Pond (Cambridge) that might match up well. |

I smoked ribs and beans the other day. Beans were amazing. Ribs had a huge smoke ring but were slightly drier than I planned. I didn't really brine them:
![]() I forgot to take an after picture but Probably the best ribs I have ever made. Amazing bark, deep smoke ring. Beans were just phenomenal. I picked up some Meth(free!) from a nice forum member for my new addiction. 5 Gallons unopened. 3 gallons in the red tank 80/20 mix: ![]() Oh I smoked a chicken the other day. Juiciest chicken I have ever had(Brined it before). Amazing smoke flavor. Probably the best chicken I have ever made other than my fried chicken. ![]()

I'm a bit obsessed with smoking meats as well. The chicken is so easy and so amazing.
I've got the ribs pretty much mastered. Pulled pork I'm 1 for 2. Same with brisket but I think I've got both of them figured out now. I love this guy's site. http://amazingribs.com/recipes/ If you haven't done turkey yet it should be next on your list. SO FRIGGIN GOOD. |

I really like that website as well. I will have to add Turkey to the list. I have yet to do a pulled pork/brisket/shoulder but I only just started smoking meats. I've done fish a few times and it comes out great. I really want to smoke some bluefish.

Love BBQ!
Here's a small bone-in boston butt just before I wrapped it last week. Pulled it for tacos, and crisped the skin for cracklin. I'm not big on brining. I feel like it changes the pork flavor too much. If you want more tender ribs, wrap them after the first two hours. They're all done accepting smoke at that stage anyways. Keep the jus, and unwrap them for the last 30-60 minutes, to restore the bark (it'll soften a bit when you wrap them.) You'll have perfect bite-texture, super tender and tasty ribs, with an award winning smoke ring and bark. Last edited by AWD Addict; 02-11-2016 at 12:16 PM.. |

You can be pretty darn dangerous if oyu have a 22" weber kettle. It's not great for large quantity cooks (for a large party, for example), but it's really servicable for 6 racks of ribs, or a big honking pork shoulder!

It gets pretty obsessive. I made smoked ice and use the cubes in bourbon. Wowzas.

Has anyone had their N54 in recently for wastegate rattle? Mine makes that terrifying noise at cold start up, but doesn't really happen again after that. It will do it again in the afternoon if I've let it sit at work all day.
Trying to figure out where to go and how much of a battle with the dealer I'm in for. My plan would be to go to Sudbury because that's where all the work was done to it until the warranty ran out. |

I had really bad wastegate rattle on every deceleration not just cold start... the SA said that because nothing was wrong with the turbos they only replaced the wastegate actuators...this was when I first got the car so I wasn't as informed as now... now I wish I complained more and got new turbos but oh well

Add this to your next dealership visit (post-letter) if you haven't heard: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1225261
Pretty much all of our cars will be affected under this round of recalls for the driver's side bag. |

Made an appointment in early March to bring my car to an indy to get the turbos replaced and inlets installed while I'm there (provided the turbo replacement is covered by my extended warranty). I was wondering if it is a good idea to replace the OEM turbos with something slightly upgraded to maybe gain some more power but more importantly shore up the terrible wastegates for the future. Any ideas?
