BIG DIY'er here in Baton Rouge.. Have walnut blast equipment. IF you seen a blue 335i with a carbon fiber hood that's me . Anyone have a lift? Anyone here done motor mounts/ downpipes/ oil pan?

Looking to getting into DIY. I'm not very mechanically inclined and quickly realized how expensive it is to get mods installed on my car! I recently bought a 2008 E60 and so far have done the following:
- Added a COBB Accessport V3
- VRSF FMIC
- VRSF Catless DP's
- M5 Wheels

Looking to get a chargepipe and bov installed and possibly install a met kit

Very nice! Where are you located? I'm in Lafayette with a 335I but looking to get a 535I pretty soon.

Nice wheels and ride, how was the cabin smells/fumes with catless downpipes after you got them installed? Charge pipe is pretty easy. Although I'm not familiar with the 5series engine.

Thanks! I haven't noticed anything different to be honest. Big difference in performance though.

I am going to be trading in my e90 and I am returning the car to stock. I have a set of ccw classics i am looking to trade plus cash for a set of stock wheels. Specs of the wheels are 18x8 and 18x9.5 offset are +32 and +38. If intrested shoot me a pm. I'm located in baton rouge

3 wheels good condition minor fade, 1 has a 1inch crack that can be repaired for $175 or bought on tirerack for about $400 incl. tax+Ship

Almost brand new Nexen-5000 tires on all 4(1-2000 miles).

Also included would be 4 brand new unopened OZ carbon fiber center caps still sealed. Also, brand new never used just installed hub centric plastic rings (this wheel is a 79 hub size to 72.6 conversion to fit).

Wanted to say hello to the fella in the 335is filling up next to me at the RaceTrac in Prairieville tripping out on me fueling up on straight E85. He was asking about my mods, I hadn't added anything in a while and forgot what all I had done. And although I can run straight E85 (which is actually 60-70% Ethanol), anything over 40% is incremental gains without more mods. I'll be checking for a post on the next meet in Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
