Custom coolant expansion tank hose was made from heater hose part number 64216983858

The hose has the same fittings as the expansion tank and is curved in a good way to reach the coolant hose that clips into the thermostat. The other end was trimmed off and hose clamp was used on the hard pipe's hose.

That seal is the gearshift selector seal. It is a very common seal to go bad, although it never leaks out much and most people would not notice it. The oil leaks onto the gearshift rod joint which has a piece of foam in it to take up the backlash. When this is soaked with gearbox oil, it disintegrates and you get sloppy shifts. Best to do the seal and 100% you should use the special tool instead of picking out the rubber/metal seal with a screwdriver

Brakes removed as it reduces weight and the brakes makes the car slow down. This is a feature we don't want on a car that is meant to go fast.

Yes, the problem is that the gearshift rod joint has a dowel pin that fits snugly in the rod joint but is slightly undersized for the hole in the transmission selector rod, resulting in around 10mm of gearshift play. The play is still present with the foam piece, its just a lot less noticeable as it is damped. You could bore out the hole on the gearshift rod joint to be the same diameter as the hole in the selector rod, and use a new oversized pin, which should make it a lot tighter. Ideally youd want it to be somewhat serviceable as you would need to be able to remove the shift joint to replace the selector seal.

PS im after a manifold, i bought PI off duck, but hate original manifold.. id be interested in the cooler and CP to socket, coulda done you a deal and gave you OEM Dp's and alot of other spares i got lying around.

Im guna be selling my vrsf 7 inch, vrsf CP, oem vrsf relocated inlets, TBI for those interested
