A RWD wagon with msport suspension would be an incredible vehicle and impossible to pass up. I don't know if any exist in Canada.
The last e91 with 328xi badging on the back were 2008 and prior from my understanding. All with LCI refresh 2009-2012 will say 328i and have the X-drive badge on the quarter under the side turn signal marker...unless de-badged.

This is the last post in this thread mentioning xdelete. Is anyone else running the xdelete on the wagon? I read about it and seems more popular with the 335i crew. I guess with the lower power from the wagon it would have less of a noticeable effect?

It seems like one could pick up a 325xi, add the 3 stage manifold and xdelete, and end up with a 255hp RWD wagon. This seems like a moderate compromise for the lack of power and the mandatory xdrive (in canada).

xdelete will give more wheel hp on a dyno where the front wheels are stationary, but in the real world the front driveshafts are still accelerated whether through the diff or through the road. Unless you physically disconnect the front shafts, their inertia and drag are still present.

Right. And there will still be increased yaw inertia giving the feeling of slower cornering.

I do think understeer would be less given that the front wheels are not pulling the car.

I have driven a friend's 330xi compared to my 330i and the handling difference was obvious. I am just curious how much xdelete could close that gap.

Is m-sport suspension that big of a deal? All sport models came with m-sport suspension?

Thanks dwlachowicz Thanks VivG I am very happy with it, defintely the best daily I have ever owned.

RE the m-sport suspension, I believe that both sport and m-sport package cars have the same suspension, and only the RWD cars get the sport suspension. The AWD sport and m-sport packages have the same suspension as non sport AWD cars, which is also not the same as the RWD non-sport suspension.

Having owned both a non sport RWD and now msport RWD, the sport suspension is super nice. Car sits much lower, and driving dynamics are very nicely improved.

I run xdelete on my wagon and the power feels much more consistent.
Even with its low power, it makes a difference. Steering is smoother, acceleration is better and mpg jumped 3mpg.
Unless I need to use the xdrive system, it’s always in rwd mode.

Steal and half!! With comfort access. Just missing seat heaters.
Shipping from Hawaii isn’t even that much if you’re really in the market!
Only issue I can think of is underbody rust?

I have friends moving back to the mainland in 2 months. Maybe I should let them know?

Such a steal at that price for miles! If 6MT and heated seats (a deal breaker for me not to have...) it might be worth the presumably high shipping rates to the mainland.

Nice find! As others have said, no heated seats is almost a deal breaker for me! I may be only one looking for AWD as well

I always thought only 2011 had MSports, but I guess 2009-2011?

M-sport was 2009-2012, yes. The 2009's are the only model with LCI and raised roof rails, which are nice because you can mount low-slung whispbars and have a cargo box that looks like a streamlined accessory for the car...rather than the other way around. Soooo many silly cargo box applications running around.

I've been lurking this part of the forum for the past year or so. I live in Seattle but searched all over the west coast for an MSport E91 but could not find one that was priced respectively. 4 months ago, I settled for a RWD, AT, Montego Blue/Grey leather with the sport package, cold weather package, and comfort access. It also happened to have the MSport suspension from the factory which has been a huge plus to have. I bought it in LA, sight unseen, with 110k miles but the owner had it dealer maintained for the past 50k miles and every single maintenance record came with it. I flew down there, drove it back the same day back to Seattle in 18 hours and it didn't skip a beat. So far, I've been very happy with the car. For the cost that I got it for, it seems to be just as cost effective (if not more) to swap all the MSport parts on a base model. But then again, you won't have the rarity of it having come that way from the factory.

Agree 110%. I have plans to swap M-sport bumpers on as it is anyway. The only harder part to acquire is sport seats, especially if you have a more rare interior color... As has been mentioned before, over 100K miles and suspension is probably due for replacement anyway, so at that point put on whatever you want. The other little M-sport bits can be added here and there. The black headliner, yeah, that's a factor. I did a headliner in my Mini Cooper and it wasn't a horrible job, but refitting the panels can suck...

The biggest thing is what people are buying for. Those looking for a collector/rare car will buy (and PAY) for the M Sport... Those that just want a great wagon won't care...

I’ve seen all 2010 models with raised roof rails and only 2011 with low profile rails.

That one in Hawaii is already rwd. Someone looking for a MT could easily swap a MT in there.

Has anyone done a MT swap on these cars? I assume that a RWD car would need a RWD transmission and so forth with an xDrive. But what about LCI/Pre-LCI? Could you fit a Pre-LCI 325i/330i into a LCI car? It's probably a lot more a hassle then it sounds.

Redshift is doing a 6MT swap, xdrive delete, modified N57 swap (with ridiculous power/torque). It's in progress now waiting on return from paint shop...then the real fun begins.
