We humans exist because of climate change. One day we humans will not exist because of climate change. Worrying about what date it happens on is pointless. Thinking the climate has some specific direction and we humans are somehow altering it off its destined path and we can direct it back on its destined path is ridiculous, and at worst, audacious.

People just do not understand geological time; they can't relate to the scale of it.

And the numerous effects that has on plants, animals and migration, ocean temps, permafrost, the list goes on, but the rate of change and computer modeling for effect of CO2 matches.

Yeah that was hastily written. Just trying to say that there is a lot going on in the climate. It can't just be written off as a simple contained system. Basically it's a rabbit hole trying to understand how it works. There's geological factors (earthquakes, volcanoes), sea currents, solar anomalies, etc.... Adding some numbers, there's something like 6.6 billion cubic kilometers of atmosphere and it varies so wildly. Oceans are around 1.3 billion cubic kilometers and the same deal.

Are you telling me the concentration of CO2 was the most in 1930, or that it changed %-wise the most then? Im not sure you even understand what you are saying.

Which of these would you expect to have the greater effect, concentration/amount or % change of CO2?

The answer is it depends, but concentration ultimately reaches a critical level where the change starts measurably warming the climate. While related, you can increase 100%, then 50% then 25% and only at the last point you have reached the concentration level where you’ve thrown the self-regulating balance out of whack and can now measure the rapidly rising temp.
