Funny,
![]() ![]() In any event I thought I was going to stay all stock. I always say that with my vehicles. So far all i have done is a Cobb AP2. And already need more power. LOL A local member on here was upgrading to an M4 from a E92is and was selling his bolt on's. I picked up his vrsf Downpipes and 7 inch FMIC. So will be putting those on soon and will get a more aggressive map. When the turbos go I will go RB's. Everything else I will leave stock till it needs it like coilovers. I like the stance it has now. My other vehicle is a lowered pick up truck with Hotchkis 4/2 but it is still a truck and it sits up higher so I feel my car is pretty low as it is. In fact today there was some debbris on the road and I did not move around it in time sine the car in front of me swerved around it. It cleared my front spoiler but I felt it hit the bottom a little. ![]() Had I been lower? who knows.

![]() Talking about the IS community.. how many of you knew the IS when BMW brought it to the market.. I wanted to replace my 335d, since work provided me a DD, with something more fun. Naturally I was looking at M3's when I came about a couple IS's at the local dealers. I am ashamed to say that was pretty much the first time I heard about them. After reading/watching/listening all reviews I could get my hands on for these cars I had to go for a test drive.. two days later I signed the paperwork. What's your guys' story? I went to the dealership to test drive an M3 that just arrived on the lot - and asked if they had a new 335is as well. I knew what they were and knew this was the last year they were making them too. The sales guy didn't know what a 335is was nor if he even had any on the lot - as we were standing right next to a coupe. I took both out for a spin, came back and ordered my 335is. ![]() |

I just went to test drive a 135i, wasn't even looking to buy that day. Ended up trading in my RX8 for the 335is.

Coming from a 2003 VW GTI 20th anniversary ed. Jazz blue (love that car) Naturally my next car had to be an Audi... Was leaning towards the S4 3.0T or S5 V8... Test drove both and the S4 was a bit of a handful with it's oversteer and the S5 felt a little better but was uninspiring. I decided to check out the 135 which was awesome to drive but I didn't want to be seen with her in public... I was starting to lean towards the M3 but the fuel economy scared me to be honest. So I started to look for a 335i and stumbled across an iS and the rest is history love at first sight... Started her up the exhaust was epic and the handling combined with the heavy clutch feel (got a 6spd)... OMG... Thank goodness for CPO though...

Knew about it since early 2010 when youtube.c0m/autospies put out a video of bmw testing the 335is out in portugal and from that moment i fell in love. In 2011 i went to go see a 335i since i didnt have the funds at the moment, but saw the E93 335is in SGM and knew I was going to wait no matter what for this car.
I kept my mind on saving and saving and after 2.5 years later I have one exactly the way I wanted, just now in mineral white ![]() ![]() |

The first time I saw one I was in love. I had a 2009 e90 335i at the time. I used to park in an underground lot for work every day. It was there that I saw one live. The guy parked there daily. I would always gaze at it in envy. Last year my previously mentioned e90 was written off in a flood. Now was my chance to get the car I always wanted. I searched locally for a good month but had no luck. I decided to expand my search to the U.S. and after a few more weeks I found one exactly how I wanted. It had about 3K miles on it. Virtually new. This was in August 2013 and it was a May 2013 build. I bought it just from seeing pictures. Took a bus 16 hours to get it and drove it back. I've had a smile on my face ever since.
