We are all tucked away for the winter. Should warm up real soon. You finally all settled out east or still here in MTL?

Nah all settled.

I even went and bought a midlife crisis car while I was settling in. Haha.

Hahaha. I wish. Couldn't get mutual agreement on a Skyline (and that's hardly a midlife crisis car, hehe).

I got an amazing deal on a base low mileage 996. I couldn't resist. Plus it's importable back home so I might've just ended up with an eventual track car. So much for me promising I'd a) get an M135i and b) never deviate from AWD. Haha.

Very nice señor. That should make a nice track toy. Able to get any track time at Fuji or others?

Going to look into that. Someone said you need an FIA license before you can be on Japanese tracks... need to look into how legitimate that statement is. Suzuka always scared the shit out of me in Gran Turismo, kind of want to try it in real life

Will post pics once my vanity plate comes in on Monday. Hehe.

I hear the Glen is not running a full track for most of the season due to the repaving project

Yes I know. Joe cancelled his second event because of this. But the one in June should be fine since repaving starts in July

I swore I wouldn't change anything in the car since I was pretty happy with it. For the first three days, anyway.

Here we go... the downhill path has begun already.

I dont think so. I think it will be a lean tracking season for most.

So far I'm in for Viper@LCMT and Watkins in June with TonyBest. Nothing else planned.

It obviously didn't take very long for me to go from this ...

... to this.

I was considering putting an iPad mini in there (seeing as I have a history of putting car PCs into my cars going back to ....... like 2004), but in Japan, it's impossible to drive with Google Maps, so a real navi went in. Dash is still mostly open because I still have to run HDMI and AUX wiring...

Don't know what to do ... car is absolutely stock on the one hand, which has a certain beauty to it. But ........ I CANNOT STAND THESE WHEELS. I also can't stand the complete lack of personality in the exhaust. I don't think it needs a drop, at least for now, so I will probably not switch the suspension......... unless I see a great deal on some KWv3s, my only approved suspension for any car from now on. But wheels and exhaust have to be replaced, I feel.
