Sorry. I can't let that happen.

I will have Joe conduct a strip/cavity search before you enter the premises.

Mid-sept... according to the owner's circle website it just finished production last week!

I'll be picking it up towards the end of a big trip with my family.
Needless to say, I'm jumping out of my pants to drive that thing!

S4 avants are probably some of the badest grocery getters on the road.

What? You haven't met him yet? Not even on campus? You're also still a student right?

And it's all good on going Jap for now bro... been dreamin' of driving a bimmer since I was in high school and when I finally got some dough after school, it's like a dream finally come true! Lately I've been driving this crap '87 E30 325i, which I consider to be a step up from the slush-box '99 Toyota Camry I've been driving for years (while I was still a student at UCD). At least you've got a beautiful E90 waiting for you elsewhere.

Btw, is your TC modded? I've seen quite a few around East and South Davis and plenty downtown. Was just wondering if I've seen you around.

I'll be like Ay Joe! Go check out Alex's shadowline trim, look at that black beauty.

Then I'll run to my car, get the camera, bust it out, put it behind my back & snap a few off balanced shots. W00t! Good plan huh?

i go to sacramento city college and i live in davis. My tC is modded in the sense that some guy tried to get into the parking spot next to mine and rubbed off some of his bumper onto my door. lol.

Dude, why isn't your tC modded? I mean, that's a easy car to mod plus tons of aftermarket parts out there. Damn man, If I had a tC for a secondary car, I would just put on some spoilers, change the lights, that's all you need man!

LOL, SHHHH...I'm not really going to do that...I have something else in mind. SHHHHHH...I hope no one see's this!

Okay, I'm going to sleep. shit. ahha

cause i like to mod the E90 a lot more and the E90 is my solid investment so i'm putting all my eggs in that basket. So my thinking is, the tC is worthless to mod because i hate it and i'm going to get rid of it. It's not particularly fast, doesn't handle well, doesn't look all that great, and is way too common for my taste. It's almost a ricebox since Toyota's come with a "pre-riced" package that has a body kit and some new taillights. It's also....... a chick car

I think Tc's are pretty nice actually. My friend picked one up with every single option available. Black on black, leather seats, DVD Navi w/ backup camera, optional 18inch wheels..etc. She's like a guy tho and likes cars. I drove it around and it's not too bad, but it does lack torque. A simple turbo kit would fix the power dept.

I agree tho, everyone i know who has a Tc is a girl. Maybe you should change your name to Sandy. MUAHAHA j/k

hahaha you bastard! To me, it was one of those things that you look at first, and think "wow, this isn't too bad." Then after maybe half a year or so, you get really tired of it. If anything, i think it has a bit too much torque, especially for this cheap ass 5AT. When you go from a dig, you have to be really soft to get it off smoothly or you get an uncomfortable jolt. Then, I learned not to ever roll at 10 MPH ever again or if i do, to slow down then push the gas or you get an even more violent jolt lol. And dude, you need to push the car more! The brakes are as mushey as they come and the suspension is as soft as my pillow; the body roll straight up sucks and everything inside my basic tC is pretty cheap. I can't argue against it because they had to make so many and keep the price down though.

i think the jerkiness you get is the tranny, not the torque. Try driving it in a manual.

You can fix the suspension pretty easy. Throw a set of eibach springs, nothing too low of course, some sway bars to fix the body roll and you're done. That's pretty cheap and it's something new to exp.

it is definitely from the transmission, but the thing is, my parents won't get me a manual because my dad firmly believes everyone int he house has to be able to drive it. He says he can drive a manual but i seriously do not believe him. Sway bars, springs, struts from the TRD shop are all attainable but the thing, that's probably 400-500 dollars for a car that i wouldn't think about pushing because it's just no fun to me. So why spend that money on the car i don't plan on keeping instead of the one that I would like to keep forever?

oh and the car is wrong wheel drive (FF)

i see your point, but changing the suspension may make it fun for you. But if you feel that the car is souless, then invest in the e90.

My brother and i have always bought manuals since we like the control of the engine better and so that no one in the family can drive them. LOL Especially my dad, he can't drive worth shit and i don't trust him! hahaha

i hear you! i swear, when i get my own car, i'm grabbing the manual version for sure!!! just so nobody touches it and because i really want to own a manual car. If only those damn R32s were cheaper! I think i'm going to wait for a newer, cooler STi though. It's always been my type of car
