Got one too. Fun fact, I traded my car in and supposedly they can't even sell the car until this issue is resolved. Who knows when they will start to get parts.

BMW is just sending out letters to let owners know about what the actual problem is, etc. Once the parts all become available, another letter will come out.

I don't know if I'm going to get into another BMW. It's a fun car, but repairs are a killer. Reliability wise, I really like the IS350, but they are pretty hard to find with the options and color I want. Any of you guys driven the WRX? I'm wondering if the ride is similar to the GTI, which I didn't like. |

wrx rides hard stock. worse than my lowered 335i on 19 rubber band 30 series tires. I was just in my coworkers 2015 yesterday. Also quality and fit n finish is not as good as the BMWs. You will be giving up a lot of luxury. But go drive one and see what you think. I also smoke it in the e92 but he is basically stock.

If we're talking new, the IS350 looks like a vacuum cleaner IMO. The WRX looks and feels like a fancy Corolla. I do enjoy the GTI, but I'll never go back to FWD and VW reliability/part tax is nothing to rave about. |

are you RWD? any AWD car will drive like shit when you drop it. An XI will ride worse than a RWD BMW after you drop it. Just the way AWD is. I've owned a 05 STI 500awhp. It ripped shit apart, but I couldn't bare the creature comforts after riding in a ~700rwhp G35 that rode like stock. Alot of Subarus come through the shop here, the new 15/16's are light years better than what they were before. I would dare to say they even feel more comfortable than some more basic e9x cars. If you're looking at "new" .. Audi S3. |

audi and reliability do not compute. I would only own one with a warranty. Everyone I know who has one has had issues.

Anyone know a good indi near Lowell MA?
Got that damn cold startup stumbling and missfire cylinder 2 cel, possibly have to replace the injector. Same thing happened with cylinder 6 two yrs ago. Cant replace it myself due to arm injury. Would like to also possibly get the thrust arms changed. Car is shaky 50-80 mph. Already put in new tires and roadforce balanced them, fixed a "bent" wheel too. This shakyness actually started after I got my tires mounted. Anyone think this shakyness is due to brakes? I need to get those replaced too. Braking feels like when the rotos are warped. |

Start with the rotors then work from there before working on the suspension. |
