Okay so I'm back in the market for tires for my EC-7's..

I was running these wheels as winter wheels, but I love them so much, I'm going just throw some summer tires on em as well.

I have an E92 RWD lowered pretty low on coilovers with all m3 suspension bits + steering rack, with rear fenders rolled.

front: 18x9 +31 (currently on 235/40/18 blizzak ws80's)
rear: 18x9.5" +22 (currently on 245/40/18 blizzak ws80's)

So here's where I need help..
-I want to stick with Michelin PSS tires and want the beefy look as well as want a comfier ride on NYC roads.
-I want to stick with a 40 profile front tire height (so has to be either 235/40 or possibly a 245/40 unless a 245/35 will give me the taller profile)
-I want to stick with a 40 profile rear tire (so has to be 245/40 or 255/35 if it will give me a taller profile)

Please advise which size tires will work best within those parameters.

Thanks in advance!

Here's how my car sits for reference with the current tires:

That looks quite amazing.

What are the wheel and tire specs? Also tire brand/model? Are rear fenders rolled or required to be rolled?

Here's how my car sits for reference with the current tires:

Wow that looks seriously CLEAN sir Really glad to hear you are enjoying your set of EC-7's.

You chose to run a more aggressive offset (et22) in the rear, therefore running the 265/35-18 tires we typically recommend will be a little more difficult in comparison to using the standard et35 offset. If you have rolled fenders, you should not have a problem getting the 265's to clear, but it all comes down to vehicle ride height and alignment settings. 255/35-18's will be a safe bet, but they are a touch stretched on the 9.5" wheel, which does not quite translate to the beefy look you may be going for.

Up front, we would suggest 235/40-18 or 255/35-18 tires. 235's are a direct fit as you know, but again these are not exactly beefy on a 9" wheel. 255/35-18 is what many enthusiasts run with our 18x9 et31 if they want to maximize front end grip/performance. The 255/35-18 tire does fit, but it is pushing the limit up front and can rub if the car is low enough. Negative camber is encouraged to avoid rubbing.

245/40-18 tires can also be used up front, but they will have a taller overall rolling diameter then stock, which could lead to scrubbing within your fender liners.

I believe the blue e92 pictured below is a good depiction of what you are after.

EC-7 18x9 et31 - 255/35-18
EC-7 18x9.5 et22 275/35-18

The EC-7 18x9 et31 square setup is a great way to go for those looking to rotate wheels/tires effectively and eliminate the factory understeer. Furthermore, the profile 2 face gives you that aggressive look on all four corners of the car.

These are a direct fitment on all e92's and pre-LCI e90's with 245/40/18 or 255/35/18 tires. The e90 LCI has 16mm wider rear track, but the rear fenders were unchanged. This results in 8mm less clearance under each rear fender. The 18x9 et31 can still be used, but rolling the rear fenders may be required to prevent rubbing on certain circumstances.

I'm in this situation as well. It seems like this should work okay with an e90 lci on stock m sport suspension. The reduction of 6, going from a stock 37 offset to a 31 would seem to keep it at the same fender clearance?

You have to compare apples to apples here. In other words, the wheel widths must be exactly the same to be able to simply subtract one offset from another to uncover the delta between the two.

What are you stock rear wheel specifications?

I probably did the math wrong and went backward in my mind. 31 ET would push the wheel out even further, plus its 34 not 37 as stock. When I look at so many options it gets all jumbled together in my mind.

So the EC-7 18x9" ET31 would have 3mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 9mm.

This might be a long shot, but do you have any pictures of this wheel in anthracite or black on a pre-lci e90 sparkling graphite? I'm trying to decide what would look better on my color, black or anthracite. Cheers.

I wasn't able to find any on a sparkling graphite, but here are Anthracite wheels on a silver E90:
