Here's my first contribution to the thread!
I've had this car since October, and I've done a few things on it so far. Haven't done a proper photoshoot yet since I haven't gotten wheels yet. But I definitely will as soon as I get some better stance! The one on the left is mine, I ran into another fellow AM E90 The White balance is not so good on the iPhone5, but my fog lights are supposed to be bright yellow rather than what it looks like OEM yellow in the picture.

I'm guessing 149. But here's a place you can look, though you might be there a while
http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ I'm wondering if Arktis is the same as the old Cirrus-Blau. That was the color of my L6, and it had the same chameleon-like quality - silver/blue/green. I think it's the most beautiful color they've ever produced.

Well you get Arktis-silber (silver)
Your saying Arktis-blau (blue) Im guessing Arktis Metallic is maybe somewhere in the middle? Arktis Metallic shows up on my registration document as green believe it or not (uk) |

I hope this thread is still active, so here's my contribution. Just picked up my Arctic Metallic 330i with AC Schnitzter kit. Sorry for the quality. Hope to get some better one's up soon! And the tail light tints are coming off.

I blacked out my window trim, but I'm having second thoughts on the grille. Any other color car and I'd black them out immediately, but for some reason I just feel like the chrome works on this color. Do those of you who've already blacked out your grilles regret your decision? Or would you recommend it? Thanks guys.

My Ride
Here is mine bought it about 2 weeks ago, all ive done is tint 35% so far. Would love to get the Blackline tailights, the lip/spoiler, going to try the ambergone tint and see if i like it and eventually some decent wheels. I am planning on driving it the whole year, more during winter. I have a summer car DSM covertible that i love but it is too low and i am trying to keep the value on it...even though i know the bmw is more expensive, the dsm is more of an eye catcher car.

Maybe you guys can help me solve the great debate in my head.
I have the Arktis Metallic and i've tinted my windows really dark. (illegal in Canada but wtv) I'm thinking of going with Gloss Black rims since i think that color combination will work nicely, or hyper silver. What do you guys prefer Arktis Metallic with Gloss black rims, or Hyper Silver. |

That's a nice looking ride.
My drop is similar as well. Your wheels arent' exactly gloss black, they're more like a gunmetal right? How do you like it in person? Does the dark wheels make the car seems too dark to you? I'm debating buying hypersilver wheels then just paying to have them painted at worst haha Reason i'm thinking gloss black is to match all the CF i have on the exterior. Jeff |

The alloys are Matt Gunmetal which i prefer to gloss black
Gloss black wheels have a few issues 1) you have to use tyre black all the time or your tyres look brown in comparison 2) all wheel definition is lost 3) makes the alloys seem smaller visually than they actually are 4) wheels will show every mark / lots of swirl marks after a while (after all it is black) I dont think my car is too dark. I have a gloss black m3 lip spoiler and gloss black performance kidney grilles. The gunmetal wheels although not being gloss black tie it together nicely imo |

yea, i don't disagree with you on any of your points.
I'm thinking more about color combination as a whole on the car as opposed to the look of the wheels. I'm not worried about the rims looking smaller since i'll be going with 19" and will probably tuck some tire so the whole gap will be filled Maybe Matt Black would do better? like the wagon just above in this thread.
