Cost me 900ish I think. I just ordered it online, paid 120 for duty fee's... Buy it from tuner works but go home update it on the computer and install it yourself.

Yup - I believe Tunerworks carry the 335i AccessPort .. I was speaking to one of their guys at the auto show, and he said they now stock them, as a Cobb Authorized dealer..

The best way to avoid water spots, is to hand wash and dry in the shade. For 100% spot-free wash, use Optimum No-Rinse, and wash/dry one panel at a time.
However, rain can cause some fairly nasty spotting; especially if followed by intense sunshine. Removing water spots generally depends on the chemicals or minerals that were in the water when it dried on your paint. On glass, usually a good glass cleaner, such as Stoner, and a microfiber will take care of 99% of spots. On paint - it depends on how bad the water spot is. For light spots, usually a quick detailer or cleaner wax (with microfiber) will remove. For spots that have eaten into the clearcoat, you'll need something more aggressive - usually machine polish/compound. However, if you have a small area of spotting that normal wiping will not remove, ScratchX will do a beautiful job of cleaning it up; Trust me |

I think I'll pass on the Beyond thing .. I'm not really into the Fast & Furious scene ..
Not knocking it though, I'm sure there are some great cars and people. |

Hey everyone, I'm from Edmonton and I'm needing to replace my windshield and I'm curious if anyone knows what the best plan of action is. I have a rain sensor wiper system so can I just take it into a place like Speedy or Apple to get a new windshield? I'm not wanting to go to the dealership because they're quoting me about $1,000 for a new windshield installed.
Does anyone have past experience with this? Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks!! |

Heat gun! Some take serious heat to remove easily .. just be careful not to melt it if you plan on re-using

Just use some heat and dental floss and slowly work your way around.

My only concern about going to a place other than the dealership would be how they would remove the rain sensor from the windshield. I'm just worried that as they're trying to pry it off, they might end up breaking it.
Any thoughts?? |

The bugs are back! All this from a 30 minute JB4 logging session tonight!
They are a pita to remove from 3m film, and make the radiator smell .. ugh! |
