No dude, a big ass no. Nobody will demonstrate a need or a desire for good if they've never seen it. An example again from my life.

Most of the veterans I've collected here have spent their days on a corner with a sign. I give them a little. I help them to have benefits, I direct them to AA, and I make sure they have doctors. They have freedom gain.

The first vet I took under my wing beat me up three times. He was so messed up with his condition I was scared to death by him most of the time. He was a trained animal.

That's what you have living in your land, and yet you think outside terror is worse?

The thing is, there is no chronically homeless. You have substance abuse, you have mental conditions and you have the vets who usually have both. What you don't have is people who adapt their skills with people and their training to go and handle shit.

No agency could hire me to do this since nobody would want to pay for the damage I've done to myself. But there are others as insane as I am, and though it isn't much right now, my tiny network has relocated people a lot. In two years 20+ women have gotten a new start, and about 20 vets are now sober and with jobs. 3drug kids are off the streets (with this I wont mention the failure percentage) , and I even managed to keep a baby with her Forster / grandma for months.

I do what I do because nobody else does. And I can't do it.
