What's up with all the bends on the CPE exhaust? Why are they so sharp? First rule of making exhaust for power, don't have so many sharp bends in the piping.

Thanks for the info. jpsimon, you mentioned that you should be able to do this with jack stands and a buddy. Is this realistic? I dont have any experience installing exhausts but I can use a wrench. Is this really that easy? Labor will add to purchase price (which is ok). I'm just trying to figure out my costs if I go with AE.

Also, will this fit on an E93?

E93 is different than a E92 chasis...You might have to modify it to fit, like custom work...Thats what I had to do with my CP-E exhaust to make it fit...Section 2 is differerent on the E93 because it has a cross brace!!

Man what is it with E93's and braces? Did you cut this one too...?...I'm just giving you shit cn55ic,.as you know I have a difference of opinion on another matter.

Seriously, thanks for the info. Was it hard to do? Sounds like I may need a shop to do this for me then, huh?

NO need to cut the brace...You need them to customize it to fit the bends and go under that brace....Any good muffler shop should be able to customize that piece for some $ but the rest of the pieces will fit!! So far there is NO exhaust that I know of who makes an exhuast for the E93 except i think Active autowerks!! We are the unfortunate ones with modding our cars, but we are fortunate ones to have a car with top down, wind blowing at your hair!!!!

It made +12whp peak gain over a completely stock 335. Across the power-band it made upwards of 20whp gains in places. I'll be getting to the dyno with my V2 and expect to see 15whp+ peak gains

weight savings of 23.5lbs over stock
