205 is steptronic, and 4AC is poplar trim. No sports package. I figure with spending almost 50K and having every other option, It'll be a great car. I do like the 18" wheels on yours.

I HAD to call the dealer and my CA wasn't there and he didn't return my voice mail either.
And the news was that.... drum roll..... it is in today!
Picking it up tomorrow at noon!

I hear ya.
Just my opinion, but when I start looking at options, the only default one is Sports Package... everything else is just icing on the cake.

I had to go to the dealer and see it for myself.
The dude that went with me to find the car in their lot was laughing his ass off when I started taking pics.
My CA? no where to be found, no cell, no nothing and he had told me he was going to be there.

Pick up is now tomorrow @ 10am EST at Northwest BMW in Owings Mills, MD.

but I have to tell you it makes no sense that I can't get mine till next week.
My CA said the car left VPC the other day, but is not at the dealership. Now remember my dealer is on Long Island, about a hour ride from VPC!
I am going in this Saturday to do all the paperwork, he said the car maybe there, but I wouldn't be able to take delivery until next week?

When I picked up my 2001 330i in Dec. '00, the car arrived on 10am a Saturday morning and I had the car with me by ~5pm that same afternoon.

The new one arrived at the dealer yesterday afternoon ~2pm and I will pick it up today at 10am.

Unless your dealer has a line of people waiting in line ahead of you to receive their cars, one week is way too much according to my experience.

Yep - I am disappointed to, I am not sure that the vehicle is not already on the lot. I might just go down there tomorrow and take a look around.

As far as break-in goes, it depends on who you talk to. There are several threads on this site that discuss it.

And lastly here is an update of where the Courage is. It looks like it just left Baltimore this morning and is about to get back out to the atlantic ocean. Just one more day til it is dropped off in Charleston. :rocks:

Thanks TX! I'm hoping for next friday delivery. I'm going by the dealership today to look at some tint jobs on other bmw's to help decide on %. I'm still not sure about the spoiler. I think it looks exactly like the sedan's spoiler where it comes off the back of the car (on the flat angled area), but I did see a spoiler that is raised off the top of the trunk lid. The one that comes off the back seems to mess with the coupes lines.

I would love to have a friday delivery. It seems cars are getting through pretty quickly (knock on wood). Cars from the vessel Liberty which docked in Charleston 1 wk ago are starting to make there way to dealers. Hopefully that is a good sign.

I am also torn on tint and mods. I am talking to the dealer this week about this to see what they have to offer.

Wow TX - if my CA was right about my car leaving on a truck today from the VPC I might just beat you to Charleston! HAHA :rocks:
