common sense would indicate slightly less boost and timing btwn stage 2 and stage 2+.

Personally I havnt tried the stage 2 map as i went for the most aggressive one off the bat

^^ can't really compare boost between two flash tunes that targets load unless its measured by the same car, same day, same weather.

18psi during the summer could be 15.5psi in the middle of winter on the same exact tune

I'm interested to see this thing on a real dyno and not a simulated program. I am particularly interested in seeing if there are real advantages of boosting to almost 19psi on these turbos on pump.

Lastly, I am interested in seeing what Cobb will do in the summer if stg 2 is already boosting this high in fall weather.

Not to mention differences in modifications will change how much boost is necessary to hit load target. Good post.

i guess everyone missed the point where there were boost caps put into place? IMO the tune has range of 1psi in either directions based on conditions. Thats just a guess based off my logs. There are also ect/iat boost reductions you can log incase things get too hot.

The stage is is an early beta, cobb reported the newest one is a little hotter.

Different cars at different times but likely not too far off.

Like I said, they ARE different cars. It says right on the dyno. 2007 335i VS 2009. Spread 5 months apart. Not saying its too far off, just something to note.

Cool, just as I thought...with load targeting all the cars will/should be in the same range of "delta"

That graph makes it look like Stage 2 is tapering boost too much.

No gains past 5800RPM vs Stage 1?

In fact that graph makes it look as if Stage 1 makes more power than Stage 2 beyond 6k rpm
