I asked the same question a while back and got some good replies here, I've been too busy to go get mine fixed yet but after everything i read and was recommended i will be going to The Wheel Zone on Palm Ave whenever i get off my lazy ass to do it. I can't vouch for their work directly but they have really good reviews on Yelp. US wheel remanufacturing in El Cajon was also recommended but there are some horror stories about those guys, i swung by their shop and didnt get a good vibe after poking around and speaking to one of the workers. Good luck and let me know how it goes wherever you end up choosing. son Tran was to far for me too...

Plan on taking my 335i into the dealership, you guys have a preference in San Diego?
Edit: Before I head over there does anyone have a code reader? Last edited by FitzMLife; 11-01-2012 at 02:21 AM.. |

Even though I live in North County, I drive all the way to BMW South County. Natasha is the SA and Nick is the tech. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I've taken mine to south county a couple times and things have always been fine, I just turn my jb4 off/disable it or whatever its called. They have never said anything about it. I don't remember my SA's name but it was two different dudes each time I was in for service. Actually my stupid service light just popped on today....dammit

Stopped by South County and talked to Matt, he seemed pretty legit and helped me out.
On a side note, congrats to the guy who was driving off the lot with his all new M3 Lime Rock! |

Hey SD - I am new here. Leased my E93 in June from Mossy BMW in Vista. Really smooth process there. Just got rear-ended on Saturday so now its back with them to get fixed up.
I live in downtown and my car is a jet black 328i with saddle back interior. |

Euro Auto Spot FTW
Went to Euro Auto Spot to get my Active Autowerkes exhaust installed on my 328i. Couldn't be happier with the experience. They ended up welding it cause I have an N51, and they also payed for my rental car over the weekend (thanks to Gerard), since they cut off the muffler and didnt have anyway to get it back on or modify the exhaust at 5pm on a Friday.
I didn't realize it wasn't going to fit my car (didn't do enough research). Right off the bat they told me it wasn't going to fit just by looking at it. I was about the ask them to just pack it back up, but Shane was confident they could figure it out (it was the first AA exhaust they installed on a 328i). I was reluctant, but having 5 of them standing around discussing how they're going to solve the problem gave me confidence that they know what they are doing. Long story short, it took longer than expected, but they did an awesome job. Oh, and the Nissan Versa sucks @$$. No power and horrible mileage Although they already get lots of praise on here, another good review can't hurt. |
