On a serious note though, I don't exactly agree with the logic of justifying not following through with promised communications to your client base because a person is "a business man and too busy"...that's sort of biting the hand that feeds. A lot of people would be fired from their job if they didn't meet a set/communicated deadline for delivering something that had a fairly large impact on the business, as is the case here.

Obviously I'm not referring to Shiv directly here (who fires themselves, plus then who'd sell us the Procede!

) but rather commenting on the business logic you presented.

+1 - what's a word worth? unless you want the hype to keep going, and the groupies to keep wetting their panties, why would you make a promise only to ignore it for couple of days.

Actually been reading alot of threads today esp on terry s thread and how he used alot of confidential info against shiv. Perhaps Shivs just ensuring that this time, everything is kept under wraps. just a hunch. Afterall, its his work. Hence, the delay. Whaddya think?

imagine me dude. Reverting back to stock and sending into dealership for abt 2 days. Then gonna install my harness again with bypass plugs only to wait for V2. But i reckon it shud be worth the wait. which forum? I don't dissagree with you by the way...not saying it's the main reason, but it might be an influence.

For me it's about how you treat your customers. Respect and maturity are the topics. I know that the product will be great. However, it needs more than a great product to success. We are all learning, every single day. I expect Shiv will do as well.

In the environment I work I would be fired for announcing a core product information for the next day and not delivering anything.
