There is another vendor on the forum, whose quality looks pretty good selling for less money.

so you're feeling jacked?

This is probably one of the fastest group buy ever in the history of e90posts and Sebastian has always reply to my PMs in a reasonable time frame.

There is only ONE other member selling the CF interior trim, and their foundation is handlayed fiberglass, ours is plastic mould. You can not compare the quality, we do it JUST like BMW.

Thanks Kev.

Not to take sides, but I was curious and went searching for the other seller. Almost all their threads are locked, so... heh.

Also, plastic > fiberglass anyday. That holds true for aerodynamics as well as interior trim. You get what you pay for!

Finally, don't misconstrue me as trying to team up with others against you or trying to start a flame war, but as others have mentioned, this GB is one of the fastest ones I've ever participated in. I've purchased product through GBs for 3 different vehicles (VW, Audi, and now BMW), and none of them have ever been as fast as this one. I wholly expected to have to wait for months, so a few weeks is great!

So perhaps there have been faster, more punctual ones, but I've never seen them. Also keep in mind, this group buy is for a product that was made to order, not for product already in stock. Body work and forged wheels have their delays, expect them with other custom automotive processes.

Patience, my grasshopper

This is my first GB from this forum, the only thing I have to compare it to was 2 GB's from an srt forum, where I paid and had the product in less then 1 week. So maybe those 2 were just AMAZINGLY fast I dont know, but it really felt like a long time for me here. And twice during the GB the thread getting locked, made me feel uneasy for a while, although it was unlocked both times. Another member also made about 6 posts for BavDom to check PM's and BavDom would post in between those posts not answering to him. I'm sure they have it squared away now, but it still felt as though there was no real connection to the vendor during the process. I'm sorry for the negativity, it's just I REALLY want this product, and I paid for it a LONG time ago. I was #2 on the list. I think my anxiousness (word?) is getting the better of me.

Edit: deposit sent 9-28, so if the product comes tomorrow or friday(hoping but it probably wont) That will be 6 weeks for me. most likely 6 1/2 as I'm expecting it on the early part of next week.

It's understandable. No worries. Remember that the timeline is once the minimum 10 are received. We thank you very much for your patience and business.

With respect to the posts of the other member, as I explained before, 1 posts reaches multiple members so it is easier and priority to post so a lot are informed. We answer all our PMs in a timely manner, we answer them as quickly as we can, but we get A LOT of pms. our mailbox fills up probably twice per week!!

It's all good, I feel ya bro on that one. One time I had a GB take 6 MONTHS from money paid to product received, so feel fortunate, my friend!

I personally think this GB went very fast from the time the 10th person paid to completion and shipping.

Guys, with all the kits on their way, I just want to take moment to thank you all for choosing us, it's always an honor to have our parts on your vehicles. We look forward to servicing you in any way possible and we hope you come back to us in the future for other products. For those of you who are into performance we do have an intake for the 335 available and one coming out for the 330/28/25.

THE BEST COMPLIMENT IS YOUR REFERRAL TO OTHER E90 OWNERS! THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Just checked my tracking, the kit has been dispatched from the US and is en-route to Canada! I should have mine by the end of next week (customs is slow as hell with the dollar as good as it is).

This means some of you Americans should be receiving it today or tomorrow! I demand pics!

Mine can be anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks thanks to the unpredictable Military Postal Service....oh well, beggars can't be choosers. I already have a place reserved for it on my new website (still in development) http://vw.mikecrutchfield.com and I will be posting lots of pictures.

Same message I got as well. I'm sure it has shipped, but USPS unlike ups, does not do step by step tracking, the next time that page will update will be after the package has been delivered

It has been shipped, but since this is a delivery confirmation, like Mattscott said, will not show up on the web until it is delivered.

Yep, the only reason it is updated for me is because it has left the USPS's hands and is now in the possession pf CanadaPost.
