On the 330i, valve timing is already maxed out basically. Without significant changes to the exhaust (headers) theres not much to do there. Ignition timing helps but mostly in the mid range. I havent done cat protection enrichment delete yet, there should be some gains there. That and eliminating the soft limiter.. |

The AF shouldnt change because of vanos changes. That is set by the AF curve. Maybe it needed to adapt.
Doesnt look like cat overheat protection was removed either, thats why it goes so rich at the end. |

Fully understand the origin but the posted graphs, all three look richer than stock for a 330. Maybe I'm misreading the Y axis. I tried to offset it against the data at the bottom of the sheet.

I know what I want and what works, but doing it myself seems like a insurmountable task for me at this point, I am planning a custom tune eventually though. Right now, I want to use what works and go from there, a new car wasn't ever in the plans, but you have to work with the hands you're delt. |
