Yeah you can clearly see the richer A/F makes less power. The only thing to improve on with the 330i fuel curve is to get rid of the cat protection fuel dumpage.

On the 330i, valve timing is already maxed out basically. Without significant changes to the exhaust (headers) theres not much to do there. Ignition timing helps but mostly in the mid range.

I havent done cat protection enrichment delete yet, there should be some gains there. That and eliminating the soft limiter..

The AF shouldnt change because of vanos changes. That is set by the AF curve. Maybe it needed to adapt.

Doesnt look like cat overheat protection was removed either, thats why it goes so rich at the end.

The off the shelf and custom tune has the same fuel curve it looks like, stock is wwaaayyy different. But I notice it goes pig rich at the end, but your saying that isn't intentional? Ahh...

There are 3 af curves in that plot, one is a full point richer.

But yes going pig rich is the cat protection enrichment.

I see the 3, but they 2 tuned runs are almost identical. and Why would they leave it in?

Dunno. Does it still have cats?

That third curve isnt stock. The single stage cars run way leaner than that!

First run is supposedly no tune, 2nd and 3rd are with a tune. The car is intake/header/exhaust as far as I know. I'm planning on dyno tuning, but I'll request the Catalyst protection removed for sure.

I thought most of the cells in the stock BMW tune were 0.920 lambda or 13.5. The two runs with the best power seem to be a little richer than that.

Thats on the 330i etc. The 328 and 325 are basically set to lambda 1

Fully understand the origin but the posted graphs, all three look richer than stock for a 330. Maybe I'm misreading the Y axis. I tried to offset it against the data at the bottom of the sheet.

I compiled just about every dyno sheet in this thread into an excel spreadsheet.

Feel free to correct anything I recorded improperly. Anyone with the link can edit it.

Have you thought about developing your own tune with an OFT or other flashing tool? You spend enough time tweaking things and I'm sure you plan on keeping your new "toy" long enough.

That's more of Hass's thing than mine, I already feel overwhelmed looking at the values/maps much less tweaking them.

I know what I want and what works, but doing it myself seems like a insurmountable task for me at this point, I am planning a custom tune eventually though.

Right now, I want to use what works and go from there, a new car wasn't ever in the plans, but you have to work with the hands you're delt.

From what I saw your first graph is STD corrected. Is the new graph also STD corrected? I added a line for the 2nd dyno, but I need to know the correction factor used and dyno type for it to be accurate.

EDIT: I found your thread. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1137172&page=2

The links to the graphs are dead. However, I can see from the video that you tested at Vinny Ten Racing again on their AWD DynoJet. I am going to assume they used STD correction again. I am thinking about renting out their dyno for an hour myself.

It's STD with the smoothing factor changed.

Yeah, my phone sucks right now. I think the numbers were like 234/207
